Knucklehead Suns announcer just said, "he needs one to close it out".  I don't think he knows the score or doesn't realize the NBA instituted the 3 point line in 79-80

It should have NEVER come down to a last second 3 to tie.  Get in a zone and Bayless gets nowhere near 30pts...

i dont know but bayless had to make two free thorws to make it 4 point game, and suns could have easy basket because anyway the game is over... but missing one free throw, make game alive and portland defend the 3 pointer of course to not go to overtime,
