Do you guys really think that people don't bet big money? I bet between 500 to 1k a day.... And I'll go really big like 5k to 10k it i feel that certain games line up for a good parlay....like game 1 of warriors and grizzly.. With Mayweather fight... I won over 5k....

Anyways... Like you guys can't believe that we bet big.... I can't see how some of you guys bet small and get happy... Goes both ways.... Good luck

Ive never felt a need to tell people how much i bet on here in terms of $$, to each their own i guess.

from what ive noticed, its mostly the rookies that use big sums of betting and post huge amounts

If you post big bet amounts, you are an attention-w_h_o_r_e and it makes no difference if they are real bets or not.

What's really funny is those who talk units and all that other crap.... Just talk cash... That's what it's about... MONEY...

Here is another news flash for all your rookies out there... The bookies are the ones who came up with all the lingo....the lingo keeps you from catching up or even going ahead big On the books.... True story... Heard this over 12 years ago from one of the main guys in the industry.

"Money Management" one of the most deadliest terms in betting history ....money management. Let me tell you that money management will never ever make you money or in that case big money.

because of the high juice Vegas puts on these bets and because of sports being rigged and because of games being unpredictable and because games are rigged within the players in rigged within the refs and Rigged within the industry and games are rigged every which way money management will never ever get you anywhere

Dont bet what you cannot afford to lose is the main thing... Gambling consumes some people. Managing your money is very important in everything, whether it is paying bills, gambling, saving for retirement , etc etc. You dont put in bets and go to the strippers if you cannot afford buy your kids food or pay the hydro...

Yeah.... Now that is right.... But I'm talking about have a bank roll to just bet and doing just a percentage of that bank roll... You never get anywhere... Up and down... Up and down...

Your telling people money management is nonsense when your playing high juice teasers where you essentially have to win 2 out of every 3 to stay out of the red?

this is where you're wrong. And this is a complete amatuer way of thinking. I see this kind of shiit in poker all the time, and this usually comes from players who suck and who'll never understand at how to get better at poker.

Its not about the money. It's about making the right bet. A 5 dollar bet is better than a 1000 dollar bet if the 5 dollar bet wins and the 1000 dollar bet loses.

Just because some guys play micro limits shouldn't define their play. Even though they think it does. you hear donks always says "well yea, then lets go play go play 5/10 or higher" etc. The limits are not what makes a player good. What makes a player good is making the right choices and recognizing +EV spots and long term profitable odds. Money and limits has no bearing on that.

too many people go all in or bet 50% of their bank roll on single bets... thats not smart man especially if you think you have a long term adv over the books which most people dont. Thats why its better for the casual bettors or even hardcore idiot bettors to bet small so their losses arent bankroll killers.

people see well the juice is -110 so that is around 52% which is no problem to break even... people just dont understand that it is extremely hard to be a winner in sports. You have to squeeze out every adv and find good profitable spots to keep a positive record. Going for home run bets often will killl anyone in the long term, Im not saying once in a while it isnt good to go big (mayweather was a prime example of a big bet, those odds were amazing, that was a near lock at only -200).  Sports gambling overall is a grind.
