I understand your point but you might not be explaing it correctly.
Either way, Boston has gotten stronger as the series has gone on while Lakers look like they are fading. Playing in Boston could be the reason.

Badlands....if you look at my first post I said the last couple games not every game in the series, but since you brought that up Im sure you noticed the margin of winning was alot higher when the spread was 5 or 6 than when the spread was a 3 or 4 pts.
you re comparing apples and oranges, the line is exactly the same for a laker home game. the line is short in boston because the lakers are the faves. there is absolutely nothing to read into tonights line, just because the lakers lost a couple games in boston means nothing as far as the line on their home court tonight

Point spreads are not created to predict the outcomes to sporting events!!!!! Please get that in your little heads...
Point spreads are created to draw even money on both sides of a given game. The line is obviously where Vegas thinks they can balance the action (and more importantly, the money) on this game. Hence, they take the Vig on run with another victory!
