We were one inbound pass away from another big night, but Dallas is so putrid that they can't even do that. Unfortunately, they don't play another playoff team until their last game against the Blazers, so it will be hard to fade them. Oh well, on to the next one.
I said yesterday that I didn't trust Chicago last night and I was right. Not only were they affected by Rose's rust (a star's first game back is always tricky) but they started looking ahead to tonight's game. And who can blame them. Miami has been the bane of the Bull's existence for so many years. They even beat them in Chicago the last time out, but that was a different Heat team. I said in the beginning of the year that all those teams that the Heat stepped on and crushed (with LBJ) would try to get their revenge this year. And they have. Miami just went through a stretch where 4 teams (with grievances against them) beat them. And the 5th, the lousy Hornets (who got curb stomped by Miami in the playoffs last year), almost pulled it off as well. Now Miami faces a team, and a coach, with payback in mind. With a win, the Bulls not only help themselves secure home court, but they also knock out an old foe on the brink of elimination (from getting into the playoffs). The fact that the Bulls are coming off two losses (one to LBJ, a former Heat) also really helps us here, as it conjures up bad dreams.
The Heat, meanwhile, are a terrible team. Don't let that win against the Hornets fool you. That's not to say they can't win, but Chicago should be a 4 point favorite based on talent alone. They have the bigs and smalls to contend with Miami. The only thing that can save the Heat in this spot (imo) are the refs. If league wants the Heat in the playoffs we will see a lot of phantom calls against the Bulls, which is why I'm treading lightly.
2 units on the Bulls at -1.5

I still can't believe how terrible the Mavs are playing right now. I was almost sure they would get a convincing win after the already lost three times to the Suns this season. But once again no defense, no effort...the only two guys that seem to hustle every night are Aminu and Tyson. Unbelievable. Still, I somehow have the feeling that we will see a totally different team in the playoffs...
Like your play once again today. Good luck and thanks for your daily input

That was a disgusting loss BB. 6 units down the drain. Can't believe it. In my opinion Rondo made them even worse. He can't shoot outside and he's not getting anything inside either. No defense for the Mavs at all. I see a first round exit for those clowns. Bulls should win but that game is a lil tricky.

Rondo is a bad fit. No ifs and buts about it. If he could shoot, that would be different. The fact that he can't shoot free throws also makes him a hesitant driver, you can see it in his body language. He does not want contact (which is a bad sign). All of this means that no defender is gonna leave Dirk, Parsons or Ellis alone to defend Rondo.

You guys are exactly right, Rondo messed the whole team up. I found it funny that they pulled him in that game against clippers a while back, when Dallas blew out the clippers. Rondo and Staudemire are the 2 guys they should get rid of

Lots of squares bashing the bulls on sports radio today(as they always do after a loss) talked to a few friends today that are die hard bulls fans. Got the typical "bulls are garbage" "how'd they lose to orlando" responses...think this bolds well for you BB.
I'm not making any plays tonight.
BOL on your play.

It really pays to scout these teams. Thanks, Scal. You warned me about these guys not being able to hold a lead and I agreed. Added another unit at halftime. The Heat are a bad team. Sharps got killed tonight. Will have two 5 unit plays for tomorrow!
