San Antonio Spurs @ Brooklyn Nets
Still super disappointed in last night's game with the Clips that I was going to refrain from betting till tomorrow but deciding on a late small wager.
Teams usually step up when star players are missing, and the Spurs are studs when it comes to playing without rest. In fact, the Spurs are 5-1 ATS playing on the Road with 0 days rest this year. However, how have they fared in similar situations if the game is a Revenge game?
Dating back to 2011, this same Spurs team flips to a 1-5 ATS in the same situation if playing a team they beat earlier in the year. That's a change from 83% to 16%.
In addition to Revenge, Charles Barkley called out Deron Williams for not playing well anymore. Motivation definitely on the Nets side here and good enough to lay a modest unit on them.
