He isn't top 10 yet. He will need to win a coulpe of titles to get into the top 10. Then he could vault himself up the list. Most people that have made lists of all time greats don't have Kobe in the top 5 either. The highest I have seen Kobe is #6 but he is usually around #8 to #10.
If Lebron can win a couple of titles and pad his stats he will get into the top 10 by the end of his career. If he keeps not showing up in 4th qtr's of the finals though even if he did win a couple of titles he won't ever get in the top 5.

My Q would be how exactly? Oversized guard who is super athletic but lazy to improve on the rest of his game? The only argument supporting his HOF is how bad Cleveland became after his departure. That stat will never be broken.

E:Kareem with no help side, otherwise MJ for sure!

I agree with you he would get in. He is so dominant, generations ahead of how an athlete is build. It just seems such a waste of talent....he is more intrested in making money then anything else.

There is quite a few hall of famers I would have take the last shot before Kobe Bryant. Kobe actually has a losing record when taking game winners.
Jordan would be first for me. Then either Larry, Kareem, Magic with a baby hook. Those are just off the top of my head, there is more for sure.
Lebron would be at the bottom of the list.
