People are reading too much into this. He wasn't referring to the total or anything like that. He was just saying he wasn't trying to throw the game. He was being funny.

I'm not doubting there aren't fixes, but this wasn't one of them. And if it was, he had absolutely nothing to do with it. Blame the refs.

if anyone was doing anything shady, it was the refs for calling the "foul"... it basically ended up causing the game to go over... Livingston did nothing but get close to a shooter, there was NO contact... and he says it in a joking matter in this interview... not sure how deep i would read into this...

&#xD;&#xA;Calling or non calling on personal fouls are the easiest way to influence an Over or Under in a game, according to Donaghy. i agree this has nothing to do with Livinston but the refs.

Had the foul and ensuing free throws not effected the total or side this would be a non issue. But since it did...some people will only scratch their heads. And what makes it worse is...Livingston acknowledges it, at the end of the game

I had nothing on this game but this situation is bugging me out. Obviously the refs cheated no doubt!  Even more disturbing is Livingston mentioning "not throwing games".  Maybe he&#x27;s a little immature and doesn&#x27;t know better but.....

the total was 182.5 the game ended at 183...lots of money on the underthey called a phantom foul on livingston while Pierce was shooting a 3. Pierce makes 2 out of 3. They quickly foul again and Wallace makes 2 freethrows to push it over and end the game

Livingston didn&#x27;t do anything but the fact that he knew the line or talked about money is sketchy. We should take a look at the ref. I hope the replay is on youtube.

You can never say for certain, but I don't think the call was intended to help the total. Watching the game last few minutes, Pierce drove the previous play missed the layup but it appeared he was grazed in the head. IMO Make up call, refs were doing all they could to help Boston anyway and they were looking for something on that play to blow their whistle. I doubt this relates anyhow to the total

its stuff like this that makes me want to stay away from betting on the nba....even if the ref missed the call on the previous play , that "phantom call" wouldnt have made any difference in the outcome of this game, so why even blow the whistle  at that point in the game? all this does is make the nba worst than it already is....dont they want to improve the game?

had the over and was watching it on yahoo scoreboard...the way things played out may have seemed a little forced. Maybe. But the last foul made sense because Boston was still within one possesion and could've hoped for FT misses.
