You can google New York Knicks 75 year streak and read more. Basically since 1982 a player who previously played for the Knicks has been in the NBA Finals.

In researching this what you will find is Google articles seem to think that with Trey Burke of the Dallas Mavericks now out that the streak has been broken. But wait for it.

In doing my own research there is still a chance a former Knick will be in the NBA Finals. Golden State and Miami do not have a former Knick on their teams.

Let me introduce you to Luke Kornet of the Boston Celtics a former Knick.

So to sum it all up if Boston wins the streak continues if not the streak is over. Something interesting to think about. I am a posted 4-1 so far in the NBA Playoffs. I am betting that the streak continues. My play tonight is Boston Money line -148 for 2 units. Good luck to all.

 True although the streak pertains to an actual player in team uniform on the bench ready to play in the game. I would bet that he still is a pretty good shooter!
