I'm just going to keep a running thread with my plays. It's easier for me to do bookkeeping like this.

2011 NBA Playoff Record: 15-12

Brutal day yesterday.

Today's Play:
Mulit-Sport Parlay
Risking 1 Unit

Basketball - 526 San Antonio Spurs -330 for Game
Baseball - 968 Detroit Tigers -220 for Game
Baseball - 970 Los Angeles Angels -167 for Game

All big favs . Goodluck but i can see Memphis makin the old farts crash again.... well see tho

Yes sir---had to parlay them to reduce the juice.

I'm actually more fearful of the Mariners somehow learning how to hit overnight. Verlander seems too easy.

Detroit needs to jump on Bedard and it should be okay. He has been terrible early on this season.

I thought the line should be higher. Red Sox have owned Guthrie, and Becks has been pitching well. Something is up.

Lost the parlay.

2011 NBA Playoff Record: 15-13

I had a good night thanks to LeagueCapper (1st QTR Denver/Oklahoma City OVER 52), Bodio (Denver Nuggets +7) and CrazyMilkMan (Memphis Grizzlies +1.5 2nd Half). I don't include their plays in my personal posted record.

When you hit a rough patch, it's nice to be able to find some good insight from great cappers (among all the other BS) in the Covers Forum.

Back at it tomorrow. :)

Tigers hurt me too.  Had them in parlay +.5 first five innings with Spurs 1st half and Texas Rangers.   Damn Verlander.  Feel free to sneak into my thread for a winner or two or three LoL

The Mariners wouldn't be able to hit a beach ball on most nights, but they slammed Verlander at home. Unlucky.

The 3-run HR to start the game pretty much sealed it for the meager bats of the Tigers.

Haren pitched really well. The Angels just went cold at the plate.

Verlander . . . no excuses there. He couldn't control the Mariners bats.

To be honest, I don't even know who is in Seattle's lineup outside of Ichiro and Figgins.  I just know they are not very good.  Talking about it is making me upset.  I had 3 to 1 odds on that parlay

You know what's worse? I'm a Mariners fan (strike 1), I know their entire lineup (strike 2), and I know they had no business winning today (strike 3).

They scored double digit runs tonight? It'll now take them a week to score double digit runs total.

MLB is a fun sport to bet.

Ha Ha We spoke about this "fan" betting already.  Can't do it for or against LoL  So you like Blazers and Mariners.  Hockey and NFL?

That parlay woulda been nice to reduce the odds. But San Antonio snuck away with that win tonight. Man it took two jumpers in the waning seconds. Memphis is playing for real right now. I'd be more than wary of San Antonio but don't write them off just yet with such an emotional win. THe pressure is back on Memphis to finish the series at home instead of going back to San Antonio. I don't think Memphis is rattled by playing them anywhere though.
