Honestly, I do anywhere between 10-30 minutes of research before making my picks everyday. In terms of resources I literally use the Score App to see past scores/schedules (heck, I even read the game preview to see if it contains anything interesting), use Covers matchups & odds section and browse the covers forum to see what picks people are discussing. I've also always followed basketball in detail so it helps that I already know team rosters and have a good read on a player's talent (saves time since I don't have to research it.)
Some of the things I look for:
- I always try to choose talent over "good value". I often seen people make picks on terrible teams just because of the value in the line. I try to stay away from that (too random). I like to bet on more consistent teams with more talent.
- I also avoid nit picking at some factors that some people seem to over-emphasize (imo). Ex. being the home team is great, but the fact is some teams don't play much better at home! Same goes for teams on the back to back.
Overall, I just use my gut after doing my research!

Now that's what I call a super dud POD. That said we're not interested in any more picks, thanks just the same.
I'm 10-3 with my POD's and your talking smack? Not to mention the POD pretty much didn't cover because of ONE turnover. Super dud? You acting like it was a blowout. Get a life dude. You must of lost a lot of money on Golden State! I'll be the first to say I ain't no expert capper like you pinball. I aspire to be like you one day.

Not confident both teams score 100. Assuming 1 team doesn't the under here looks really good.
Magic/Warriors Under 224.5
I think we see a slightly more reserved warriors team after that embarrassing loss to LA. They'll still play quick but I think the Magic has enough athletic pieces to slow them down just enough for this to go under. Oladipo should be back which is huge defensively for the magic.

Bulls pretty healthy and need this win as they are fighting for the playoffs. At home as well.

P.S. For the record before someone calls me out on it, the way I calculate my +/- units is simplified and not 100% accurate. I am not taking into consideration that each bet is not exactly one unit since for ex. -110 odds require you to put down a bit more juice to win back 1 unit. However, just to simplify things I am assuming for my own record keeping purposes that its even money and every bet is one unit! Therefore, my +units is inflated because losing bets lose me slightly more than one unit!

On the other hand Utah has hit a wall aside from its win against a depleted Hornets team. I'm going with the vets here to pull this one out as they try to get that 4th seed for home court for the playoffs.

We talking about the Spurs defense. They have held opponents to under 100 in 7 straight games. I expect no difference here. I'm hoping the Spurs slower game pace forces the fast paced wolves to slow down their game.

On the other hand Utah has hit a wall aside from its win against a depleted Hornets team.
