I hope Westbrook returns to home to LA(Leuzinger High) to free KD up and not ruin his career.   Then get Howard would be awesome.  That will at least keep the Pacific division competitive with the Clippers.

They don't need players. Just change the rules so that Bynum and Odom are allowed to bring their switchblades oncourt and they'll be fine. This five-on-five shit is no fun for them anymore.

Kobe 25.2m  3 years

Gasol 18.7m 3 years

Bynum 14.9m  2 years w/team option

Odom 8.9m  2 years w/one non guarenteed

Artest 6.8m 3 years

Walton 6.5m  2 years  Untradeable

Blake 4m 3 years

Fish 3.4 2 years

Brown 2.3m player option

Barns 1.9 player option

This will be the same Laker team for the next two years folks. Gasol, Bynum and Odom are your only tradeable pieces. No one will touch Artest or Walton and Blake and Fish are not worth much. Orlando is not going to trade Howard. We know the Lakers need a point guard that can defend and shoot 3's, Will this have to be a older veteran minimum, d league, rookie? Should they give up their size advantage and trade odom for a guard, who? Be realistic.  A new coach and system may be just what the Dr. ordered.

#1 shannon brown is sure to leave lal because mainly because he extended a year instead of getting a new team because he wants to win despite the fact that he was underpaid this season.
#2 fisher in the bench( i cant imagine fisher leaving lal AGAIN) 
#3 with that said lal getting a better point guard e.g. paul 
#4 changing a center is very possible I think it will be gasol because bynum is way younger ergo better for the franchise to keep younger players
#5 Brian Shaw becoming head coach ( very sad to see zen master leaving. hope he stays 1 more year though)

Asking howard and paul to come to LAL is possible but I doubt an organization like LAL can pull it off to have a big 3 of there own. :- )

The Lakers will be fine if Kobe divorces Vanessa.

Rick Adelman becomes head coach.

They trade Bynum and Odom for Dwight Howard.

Trade Gasol and some pieces for Chris Paul.

Derek Fisher retires, moves to assistant head coach.

It's really that simple.
