ok is it just me or was there "sleep over" on MONDAY NIGHT, they got to L.A. sometime Tuesday afternoon or morning or whatever and got a perfect night sleep TUESDAY NIGHT...... how does this effect a WEDNESDAY NIGHT GAME????????

3 homer calls in the final minute by itself...Clear foul on Gasol but out on Duncan(should have been 2 ft's to Tim), the MJ vs Russel pushoff reincarnation by Kobe to Bowen for the game winner, and then the Rear-Naked UFC chokehold put on Manu by Lamar on the rebound to end it....
Screw the 20 pt lead, I just want a cleanly officiated game...

If you were ever a college athlete, or played sports at an extremely high level, besides high school, you would understand the all important rule, "the night before, the night before." This is referring to the getting the best sleep 2 nights before the big game, as research has shown it is the most important night to gain the best sleep. Excuse or not, it is an important detail that I can sympathize with.

You can't say that, Its by far the most important thing to factor into the situation that occurred with them. But, I hate excuses just like the next guy, but its pro sports, get use to it. Athletes, coaches, and teams all make them up for either their bad decisions or bad play. They just need to put up or shut up, no excuses, just play the game. One nights its the refs, the next its a plane ride/lay-over...it doesnt matter what there excuse is...but the fact of the matter here is simple: the whole night before, night before plays an impact on an athlete...its shouldnt be made a public excuse for losing, but it matters.
