You captured that well. Too bad ESPN is done with their 30 for 30 series. Number 31 would have been riveting.

That is a once in a lifetime bad beat. That will never happen again.
There is a bad beat almost every night, but it just seems more commonplace today than ever before.

LARGE Moose! Wow!
No guarantee the guy would hit the '3'... and alot of teams would FOUL down 7 w 10 sec left, I see that Regularly in college and NBA games..... how many times I had to sweat out Over/Under's late in games at the Free Throw line... still an extreme, hall-of-fame MOOSE for the Under. Unreal!!!

They didn't just screw me with the over, i had dallas -4 too, which ended up being a push because of that basket.

Carlisle tapped him on the hip, which is a meaningless gesture. He might have been telling Durant "Good game." But how is Durant turning around and handing him the basketball "rolling with the punches"? That was more like "rolling another fatty."
lol... loving the fatty remark...

Darnell Jackson is a complete bonehead for hoisting that shot. You have the right to be ticked off.

Carlisle, for whatever reason, took a step onto the court and had both feet fully on the court when he tapped Durant on the right hip. At that moment I thought he was telling Durant "Good game." Carlisle immediately took a step back and got back on the sideline as Durant turned his body and appeared to offer him the ball. Carlisle hesistated for about a half second and then snatched it out of Durant's extended palm.
After more than an hour of watching and re-winding the exchange between Carlisle and Durant, I finally figured out last night's mystery. At first, as I wrote above, I thought Carlisle had probably offered Durant some form of cogratulations on the win, like "Good game", but that's not what he said. Carlisle actually said "Roll Tide", which automatically made Durant turn towards him with the ball in his outstretched hand and reply in kind with "Roll Tide." Then Carlisle grabbed the ball. So that's it.
By the way, they were both right - Roll Tide.

What a horrible betting story these poor people on the under have. Like you said, that wasnt even a . Had he dribbled it off his foot, maybe. This is more like the Loch Ness, because I saw it and still dont believe it....
Only thing I can compare it to is the NFL game (teams slip my mind) when the one team walked off the field to protest a call and the other team walked in for 2 points (which they wouldnt have done otherwise) and covered by 1 point....
