Gallo was announced as injured and now some books have it going UP to -2 Nuggets.
No biggie, lay the points.
Nuggets will be in the top 4 best teams in West this and the hapless Sixers will struggle with the 7th/8th seed at best (where they only benefited last year because of a Rose injury in the playoffs).
The Sixers are gutted and injured and still trying to find their identity (which they traded in the offseason). Take the Sixers and who do you get on the court tonight: minutes from Kwame Brown and Spencer Hawes of all people. Run for the hills now if you are Sixers backer.
Iggy's return to Philly WILL mean something to this game and put Denver over the top. No Bynum obviously which is only to Denver's benefit.
This is a quick and dirty write-up because I was waiting for Gallo's status and even though he's out with the line shading towards the Nuggets not against it, you can be confident and lay the 1.5 here and keep your eye on other games.

Scal -- wait, you mean you aren't lining up to back a Nick Young squad? Get out of town!
That guy makes Jamal Crawford look like he's has a conservative shot selection.
And by the way, if Ryback's finisher went through that cell like Mankind back in the day, your avatar would say RIP CM PUNK (along with Mr. Feed Me More to boot) and I'm not kidding. Death or paralysis at best. Ridiculous and unnecessary ending all the way around.

Agreed on Ryback -- in fact, I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have been the plan for Punk and Ryback to go through the cell, as stupid and reckless as that sounds. That would have clearly been Ryback's biggest "moment" to date and might even have matched Punk's win at MITB in Chicago last year.

Bad spot for them. They can't make Philly a bigger underdog than 2 in the first game which they just did at most books. Afraid of the exposure. I feel very comfortable laying 1.5 in this spot.

I don't know. I literally was holding my breath during his cell-top finisher because if he goes through, Ryback could land on his neck and then you have another Droz incident or worse.
He sure did a number on that ref though. There was a nasty Ryback-assisted faceplant when he first got his hands on him.
I thought the ending was extremely weak and thrown together at the last minute unless they really can explain the ref interference in detail (which they won't).

Scal -- he's not even around this year, he's retired because no one would sign him and now he is doing commentary for Celtics games apparently.
Raw moving to three hours (plus their show on ION plus their Saturday Morning Slam show, along with Smackdown, + PPV's) takes up a lot of my time I could otherwise dedicate to mamba...
