Its not always the players who benefit from the shaves ..  the stats dont lie in a trap game like this.. all of our money prolly doesnt always go to the athletes it can go to various things like bills for these arenas water, food , conssesions, for that night things like that ... the nba doesnt like to spend their own money on stuf like that WE THE PEOPLE DO THAT EVERYTIME WE BUY A TICKET EVERYTIME WE PLACE A BET ... THESE OWNERS AND GM'S RELY ON THE SPORTSBOOKS TO GIVE THE PEOPLE THE BAIT LINES TO REEL IN THIER MONEY ESPCIALLY ON PLAYOFF GAMES AND SUPERBOWLS HELL IN THIS CASE ITS A PRESEASON GAME ... ASK LEBRON HOW EASY IT WAS TO BLOW THAT -6.5 ... ANY NEWCOMER TO GAMBLING WOULDVE PUT $100 ON LEBRON JUST BECAUSE THE STRENGHT OF LEBRON BUT LITTLE DOES THIS VICTIM KNOW ... LEBRON IS THE MAIN PAWN USED BY THE NBA TO REEL IN THE MONEY IN A WAY YOU CANT EVEN IMAGINE . . THAT $100 THAT PICK THAT HE THOUGHT WAS GONNA HIT WITH FLYING COLORS ACTUALLY WAS AN EXTRA $100 USED TO KEEP THE LIGHTS ON AND WATER RUNNING IN THE QUICKEN LOANS ARENA ... point shaving is real guys dont let these puppy faces on ESPN fool you during these interviews and press conferences ,these guys get bonus' for blowing/covering games ... its nothing to be up 10 points with 30 seconds left and the spread is -11 these guys will run the clock out and walk off courts grinning at MOST of the idiots who took them ... and they dont care cuz they knew the spread and still got the win ... so in your case as somebody who took SAC the nba pretty much hustled us tonite and Vegas and all these other sports bookies will give them thier daily cut

Anybody remember the "bahama bowl" back on christmas eve 2014?????,,,

West Kentucky -4 v Central Michigan +4?

W.Kentucky had record breaker Brandon Doughty at QB so everybody was betting heavy on West Kentucky that day ccuz that year they had a top 5 offense in the FBS and the QB who broke the alltime TD record . MIND YOU THIS WAS CHRISTMAS EVE AND WE HAVE A MICHEAL JORDAN AT QUARTERBACK SO LETS JUST ALL MAKE THIS EASY CHRISTMAS EVE MONEY TAKING W.KENTUCKY -4 RIGHT????????? WRONGGGGGGG

W.Kentucky was up 42-7 with 12 mins left  in the 4th ... the final score was 49-48 .... moral of the bet is it might look like candy on paper and statwise but out of all days to point shave vegas and the sportsbooks chose CHRISTMAS FUCKIN EVE TO RAPE US ALL .. ITS OBVIOUS THEY DONT WANT US TO WIN THE BOOKIES KNOW IT THE PLAYERS KNOW OT THE OWNERS KNOW IT ... Dont know any of you guys but by reading these posts most of you dont believe in anything logical cuz to think these guys discuss point shaving in timeouts snd that these guys bust their ass in weight rooms and spend time from their families and work as hard as they do just so some losers on dead end jobs can lose a bet on a game geez guys your lives must be pretty horrible to invest time in this loser bullshit talk and the fact that your betting on an NBA preseason game speaks volumes geezz!!

If you are going to fix a game, why would you wait until the team is down 42-7 with 12 mins left?  Why would you wait until an NBA team was down 20 with 2 minutes left?  

Doesn't leave much margin for error does it?  Are they going for style points?

If a game is going to be rigged, the spread will already have been decided by the 3rd quarter.
