I did numerous projects about Pelicans in High School.
LOL This brings back memories.

What I never understood is that one of the species ""THE AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN"" Is only found in Canada ??

im from the new orleans area, and for years back in the day, new orleans had a beloved minor league baseball team and their mascot was the pelican. pelicans can be seen all over south lousiana along the bayous, and im not sure if i like the mascot.....just informing you of the background.
