A solid team, much better choice for the Rockets than for the Lakers. He will have much more of a chance to put up some points, and will compliment their perimeter defense which was shitty last year. In the West however, it's a very difficult grind. I'll keep posted.

This move will help the Rox defend Kobe on the perimeter, and give the Rox another threat on offense when Tmac is having an off-night.  Also, lets not forget Artest had his best yr as an NBA player under Adelman, whom he openly stated to reduce his annual salary just to keep Adelman in Sac-town.  Clutch City making a comeback?!?

Had Yao not been injured imo Houston would have defeated Utah in that series and then who knows what could have happened between them and Lakers. Now with Artest in the line up and a healthy Yao there's no saying how deep they will go this coming season. They are definitely top 4. Bynum will be back for lakers, Posey to the killer beez squad - the west is going to be strong once more.

hornets, houston, lakers & spurs are for certain.

Unless new coach for phx instills in them the vital importance in defense they will fal short once more. But who knows - i'm defintely pulling for them.

For us Kings fan,Back to the lottery we go.I would be suprise if this team wins 40 games. As long as cry baby brad miller is there and all the dead waste high salary punks on the bench this team is going nowhere.

If the Kings didn&#x27;t suck with Ron, they certainly do now.  What a joke.  This trade reminds me of the Pau Gasol trade.  They will be lucky to win 10 games next year.  Go Suns!!!!

As a Kings fan i think this was a good trade for us.  We get an expiring contract in Bobby Jackson, who is a great locker room veteran.  A 1st round pick in Donte Green, who has loads of potential to be a good player in the league, a future 1st round pick, and cash.  I dont see why everybody thinks the Kings got shafted.  Dont get me wrong i loved Artest on the Kings, but i dont we couldve done any better.  Especially since this was Geoff Petries plan from the start, to get an expiring contract, and a 1st round pick.  But since we got two 1st rounders, the deal is even better!

Love the trade. Artest is a superstar type player, but needs to be conrtolled. Put him on a team with T-mac an Yao and he isn&#x27;t the man so maybe he won&#x27;t act like an idiot. Battier also might be able to keep him in line. Worth a shot

&#xD;&#xA;Jackson is a nobody and it&#x27;s 2 late first round picks. That being said Artest needed to go. Artest loves Adelman though and the Rockets now have a big 3 of their own. Great trade for the Rockets and a needed trade from the kings
