would have gotten to the point much quicker...

 

by the time he is done, he may be considered the greatest pure shooter of all time... and he does more than just shoot... decent defensive player, can get to the basket, pass, hit shots from anywhere... fundamentally sound in every single aspect of his game...

what exactly are you thinking?

When he retires, he'll have the most threes of all-time and he'll be in the top 20 scoring all-time.  He made a couple of All NBA teams, a bunch of All Star appearances, and won a title.  And he's one of the top FT shooters ever.

Perennial 20 ppg game scorer with 9 All-Star appearances and a ring.    And arguably the greatest 3 point shooter in NBA history.   I think that qualifies.

Ray Ray is a HOF'er for sure. Best shooter, doesn't get to rim as often as he used to but still can do it, good passer and ballhandler and as Ice4Blood said, a decent defender. If he would play for a team with less offensive potential he still would put up great numbers.
