If anyone in this thread thinks Lebron is the best player in the league then they do not watch enough NBA basketball.  D Rose, Kobe, and Durant are clearly the best players in the league and they are better than Lebron.  If you think that Lebron is better than those 3 then you need to watch more games.

I think if you ask any sort of "expert", "espn insider", or anyone who is involved in sports professionally, they will all tell you that LeBron is the overall best player in the league.

In my opinion bitching about Lebrons play in todays game is nuts, but you do have a point about not being thought of in the highest of legends stautus yet.

He's the poster child for being ripped if anything, ESPN analysts rip him more than any player in any sport, Wade single handedly blew the game tonight after LeBron put the team on his back, and it's funny that people still nitpick and try to find ways to rip at LeBron for running the play the coach called.

And none of them would ever compare him to Magic either. You must be kidding me or YOU never watched Magic play. Their games aren't even remotely similar. Magic played like a point guard, Lebron plays like a bull in a china shop. 
Lebron is the best overall player in the league, but he is far short of Mike, Kobe, and Bird when it comes to closing a game in crunch time. HANDS DOWN!!!

I've watched them repeatedly compare LeBron to Magic, not because of his exact play style, just in the fact that he's a 6' 9" player who is a facilitator first. I don't think LeBron is the player Mike, Kobe or Bird were/are. LeBron is LeBron, but all people do is compare him to the all time greats. Talent and ability wise he's probably up there, there's no denying his physical gifts, but obviously accomplishment wise he's not even close. He will win a ring, probably this year. By the end of his career I think he will have earned himself a spot as a top 10 player of all-time, probably not top 5, but top 10 I think it'll be tough to argue that he wasn't.

Alright listen. Gonna rant about "The King"

I did not watch tonight's game nor do I care what happened. Lebron is a choke artist. He has been treated like royalty since he was a little child. When the going gets tough, he does not produce. He constantly does stupid shit via the social media networks that make him look like a little school child or a rookie.

He has amazing ability. That is not even a question. But he will never be in the same breath as MJ, nor Kobe, nor Magic, etc.

He has not won ONE championship yet and everyone treats him like a God. Why? He has maybe 10 more years left in the league? He is awful in the playoffs compared to the regular season. If you can't produce when everything is on the line, you are not one of the greats. If you want stats for fantasy basketball, Lebron is your guy. If you want rings.... he most certainly is not.

LeBron is and will be one of the greats but he will NEVER EVER be in the GOAT status. I honestly wont even put him ahead of Oscar Robertson (who was LBJ without the athleticsm) until he wins a ring.

While Lebron came up big with two huge shots, put I know the public will give Wade a pass and find a way to blame this game on Lebron HMM." Get it Lebron dominated in the two Heat wins against the Mavs. The games that Wade dominated were all losses and no surprise that he missed a key free throw in game 5 and turned the ball over at the end off that game too. Oh and Vegaslover were u watching the playoffs last year especially Boston and CHicago game 5. Look it up on YOUTUBE Search Lebron Game 5 against BULLS and then Lebron Game 5 against Boston. Respect the future MVP

Whoever honestly believes Lebron will never get a ring is delusional. I'm a Lakers fan and I know the Heat are going to win the ship.

Oh yeah and tonight's game. If Wade made his free throws and didn't foul this conversation wouldn't exist. Lebron only scored 17 in the 4th and passed to a wide open team mate who can make that shot 8/10 times.

Even if they did finally win a championship, it'll likely be because of Wade and not Lebum.

He is timid as fck in the clutch. All these years, if you didn't recognize that already, then you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
