not 1, not 2 not 3 not 4 not 5 not 6 not 7 ...... he was right in the first place.... NOT 1. Lebum is not clutch. Wade has been in the past and has his ring So those who defend the Queen and say he is great and get too much criticism, its his own fault with being a spotlight person in the first place. You want to give yourself the title of the greatest and brag about winning championships well then reap the blame and criticism that goes along with it. Lebum makes millions, he doesn't need anyone defending him he is a big boy and most of all could give a rats ass about you.
well said

If anyone in this thread thinks Lebron is the best player in the league then they do not watch enough NBA basketball. D Rose, Kobe, and Durant are clearly the best players in the league and they are better than Lebron. If you think that Lebron is better than those 3 then you need to watch more games.

Just like they were supposed to win it last year... right?
I honestly didn't think we'd win in year 1, this year with a healthy Haslem, healthy Mike Miller, and additions of Cole and Battier, plus another year for them to all gel, this is the year. No Excuses now.

I think if you ask any sort of "expert", "espn insider", or anyone who is involved in sports professionally, they will all tell you that LeBron is the overall best player in the league.

I'm filing a formal complaint and/or putting in an offical request that you henceforth refrain from putting cute little "Zeke" in the same sentence as Jordan, Magic and Bird.
In my opinion bitching about Lebrons play in todays game is nuts, but you do have a point about not being thought of in the highest of legends stautus yet.
I think LBJ really only has one major problem and that is that he wants to be liked too much by his peers ... He tries to pull off the "veteran leader" role, but I just don't think that comes naturally to him,,, he kind of reminds me of those child prodigies who are always way ahead of their classmates and had to grow up with kids 4 grades ahead of them..
100% agree, very accurate assessment, also agree that Isiah has no business in that grouping

Of course they will say that, he is ESPN's poster child. He is "The King"
duh
He's the poster child for being ripped if anything, ESPN analysts rip him more than any player in any sport, Wade single handedly blew the game tonight after LeBron put the team on his back, and it's funny that people still nitpick and try to find ways to rip at LeBron for running the play the coach called.

And none of them would ever compare him to Magic either. You must be kidding me or YOU never watched Magic play. Their games aren't even remotely similar. Magic played like a point guard, Lebron plays like a bull in a china shop.
Lebron is the best overall player in the league, but he is far short of Mike, Kobe, and Bird when it comes to closing a game in crunch time. HANDS DOWN!!!

What is that statement was delusional? Wade's plays ended up dooming the Heat and LeBron ran the play that Spoelstra called. You should like battered and bruised Knicks fan

Lebron is great? Really, talk to me when he has 1 championship. If he was that great he wouldn't need to join Wade and Bosh. Simple, he is doesn't have the cojones.
We will be talking in June. Heat win and no one can stop it.

I've watched them repeatedly compare LeBron to Magic, not because of his exact play style, just in the fact that he's a 6' 9" player who is a facilitator first. I don't think LeBron is the player Mike, Kobe or Bird were/are. LeBron is LeBron, but all people do is compare him to the all time greats. Talent and ability wise he's probably up there, there's no denying his physical gifts, but obviously accomplishment wise he's not even close. He will win a ring, probably this year. By the end of his career I think he will have earned himself a spot as a top 10 player of all-time, probably not top 5, but top 10 I think it'll be tough to argue that he wasn't.

Alright listen. Gonna rant about "The King"
I did not watch tonight's game nor do I care what happened. Lebron is a choke artist. He has been treated like royalty since he was a little child. When the going gets tough, he does not produce. He constantly does stupid shit via the social media networks that make him look like a little school child or a rookie.
He has amazing ability. That is not even a question. But he will never be in the same breath as MJ, nor Kobe, nor Magic, etc.
He has not won ONE championship yet and everyone treats him like a God. Why? He has maybe 10 more years left in the league? He is awful in the playoffs compared to the regular season. If you can't produce when everything is on the line, you are not one of the greats. If you want stats for fantasy basketball, Lebron is your guy. If you want rings.... he most certainly is not.

Sorry, but you're not top 10 greatest of all time, when you don't have the balls to take the final shot.

LeBron is and will be one of the greats but he will NEVER EVER be in the GOAT status. I honestly wont even put him ahead of Oscar Robertson (who was LBJ without the athleticsm) until he wins a ring.

Vegaslover I will repeat what I put as my facebook status hours ago it applies to u "
Wade not clutch tonight missing a key free throw that would have put game away and fouling Harris twice in the closing minutes. While Lebron came up big with two huge shots, put I know the public will give Wade a pass and find a way to blame this game on Lebron HMM." Get it Lebron dominated in the two Heat wins against the Mavs. The games that Wade dominated were all losses and no surprise that he missed a key free throw in game 5 and turned the ball over at the end off that game too. Oh and Vegaslover were u watching the playoffs last year especially Boston and CHicago game 5. Look it up on YOUTUBE Search Lebron Game 5 against BULLS and then Lebron Game 5 against Boston. Respect the future MVP

That lump of dung isn't even the best player on his own team. I wouldn't want him taking the last shot! He will never win a championship, even if Pat Riley came back and coached that team.

Whoever honestly believes Lebron will never get a ring is delusional. I'm a Lakers fan and I know the Heat are going to win the ship.
Oh yeah and tonight's game. If Wade made his free throws and didn't foul this conversation wouldn't exist. Lebron only scored 17 in the 4th and passed to a wide open team mate who can make that shot 8/10 times.
