I just feel it's time for a change. I am a mid to high stakes professional poker player who bets sports for a hobby but unfortunately its an expensive hobby because when I win i win big, when I lose I lose big. It has no longer become fun for me because I bet way too much per game and the stress of it isn't worth the money and the mental grind really affects my poker game. It's so strange because my bankroll management with poker is phenomenal but with sports betting I am an absolute loose cannon. I thrive on setting rules in terms of bankroll management because I know how to not step over the boundaries in good times and bad times. I just feel that if i really want to get back to enjoying not just gambling on sports, but watching it in general, i gotta set some guidelines and rules for myself....without further ado....
-Starting bankroll of $2,000
-My bankroll will have levels. Each bet will be 5% of the starting bankroll of each level. Each time i double my bankroll it will go up a level. If I happen to hit a downswing and fall back into a lower level, the bet size will also fall down into the lower level..
Level 1 (each bet $100): $2000-$3999
Level 2 (each bet $200): $4000-$7999
Level 3 (each bet $400): $8000-$15,999
etc, etc
-If the juice is +110 the bet is risking 100 to win 110, if the juice is -110 it is risking 110 to win 100.
-Will include all sports but each time it will be posted in the NBA forum.
Well that's pretty much it. BOL to everyone, hope to give you guys all consistent winners!
