I’m on the Sixers -1 and -1.5.

That devastating 15-2 run by the Nuggets to finish the 3rd quarter was triggered when idiot Kelly Oubre, Jr. fired an ill-advised three early in the shot clock when the Sixers had their biggest lead of the game at 97-89. He bricked it and the Nuggets quickly got a 3-point play by Aaron Gordon at the other end. A couple minutes later, the idiot Oubre did it again, chucking a three very early in the shot clock. It was another boulder, and at the other end the Nuggets grabbed another offensive rebound and swished a three.

Offensive rebounds are now 16-5 in favor of the Nuggets and that’s why they’re closing in on a road win. They just grabbed their 16th and made another 3-pointer with the opportunity.

Marcus Morris, Sr. tied the game 111-111 with a 4-point play and the Sixers now have a 115-113 lead with 6:58 to go.

Nikola Jokic has 14 rebounds tonight and ELEVEN of them are offensive rebounds. I mean, come on Sixers.

Joel Embiid is again coming up huge at home against the Nuggets. A year ago he overpowered them with 47 points and 14 rebounds in a 126-119 win. Tonight he has 38 points after converting a 3-point play and then swishing a three for a 121-113 lead.

Embiid scores again, 18-2 run.

That 18-2 run indeed proved to be the knockout blow as the Nuggets stayed frosty cold for the final 8:40. They had 111 points with 8:40 to go after nailing that three I complained about earlier that gave them a 6-point lead. 

Holy heck, what a horrible foul call on Embiid by the horrible lady ref.

I wish someone on planet Earth could provide an honest assessment of the three lady refs in the NBA, but that is not permitted under threat of cancellation.

Congratulations, chubnubbin. I more than doubled my bet on the Sixers after seeing you on them. What the hell, why not?
