The Spurs game last night was a real kick in the balls! Still can't beleive they gave that game away. Going with a one at at time approach tonight and hoping to build this account back to where it should rightfully be!
Denver at Detroit
Nuggets are serious ballers at home, but that seems to be where they leave their balls when they travel. Sitting at 12-19 on the road and posting a 1-6 road record in their last seven does not give me any confidence that they can walk into Detroit tonight and cover. With the momentum of their back to back wins over the Spurs and the Hornets I look for Detroit to take care of business at home tonight. Don't be blinded by the Nuggets outburst the other night.

Denver at Detroit
Nuggets are serious ballers at home, but that seems to be where they leave their balls when they travel. Miami at Milwaukee
Who the hell is going to play for Miami tonight? Not that it matters, because when they leave Milwaukee they will be seeing Redd! This should be a relatively easy cover for the Bucks who seem to play well at home. I have them winning this one by 12-13 points or more as I see no way that Miami can keep up. Williams will NOT have a career night tonight.

Also thinking about the Rockets. Tough position for the Celts, a veteran team who went all out last night. I would not want to go into Houston after playing a grinder with the physical Spurs last night. Houston has the best home court advantage courtesy of this winning streak. Luck is on the Rockets side right now, Lakers w/o Gasol, and the C's on a horrific b2b

Watching Kobe in High School automatically made me a Laker fan as I truly beleive that he is the most gifted NBA player (2nd only to Jordan) in history. Now many will argue that with me, but that is how I feel. But, as gifted as he is, he cannot beat a team that has the offensive firepower that the Mavericks have. On January 25th these two met up in Dallas and Kobe was by himself. No Gasol, no Bynum. Kobe went for 40 in that one and the Lakers lost by 7. Fast forward to March 2nd in LA. Now Kobe has Gasol by his side. Kobe went ballistic again posting 52 and his partner put up 17, yet it took OT for the Lakers to win by 4. If Kobe has support around him this is a different game altogether, but there is no way he can do it by himself! He could put up 70 and I think Dallas still covers in this one.
