Turning this year's playoff losses into next year's profits

Question

I&#x27;m looking ahead next season to the first couple of games between teams that met in the playoffs and were either embarrassed by the winning team or lost in a close series:Bulls vs Wizards (Bulls got humiliated by the Wiz)Rockets vs Blazers (Blazers won on a buzzer beater to sent the Rockets home)Warriors vs Clippers (obvious reasons)Clippers vs OKC (Clipps feel like they got robbed in game 5)Raptors vs Nets (Raptors lost a very close series, with shady officiating, to a team they wanted to beat badly)OKC vs Spurs (obvious reasons)Heat vs Spurs (obvious reasons)Of course, there is a lot of time between now and then and many factors (the line, home court, back to back situations, injuries, current form etc) will come into play, but revenge should still be a strong motivation.

Ah, yes, forgot about the Grizz! Good one for sure with Randolph getting suspended. Dallas too, depending on the situation (like Spurs on a back to back in big D).

I love this post BB.I absolutely LOVE the raps to take out the nets AndThe rockets to take out the blazers.It is all about the first game. The second and third won&#x27;t hold nearly as much weight (but the raps first home game vs the Nets will).Hopefully, the first game will be home game for the raps as that will be crucial to full encapsulate what went down in game 7. The nets won&#x27;t take it nearly as seriously as the raps and the raps should take it by double digits. (Yes, we can make a solid prediction in June for this one)

Did you guys ever see that interview with tim donaghy about the raps/nets series. He had the nets winning the series eventhoe he knew the raps were much more talented

Gotta add two more games to this list :&#xD;&#xA;Cavs at Wolves: K-Love&#x27;s return (I imagine a very similar Dwight return to LA here where the Rockets crushed the Lakers) &#xD;&#xA;and less so (given the youth of those seeking &#x27;revenge&#x27;)&#xD;&#xA;Wolves at Cavs

I know it&#x27;s crazy to say this but I follow one team religiously and &#xD;&#xA;MAVS @ Knicks &#xD;&#xA;where Felton and Chandler return to the Garden will be a prime spot to back the Mavs. &#xD;&#xA;Felton can be perceived as an overweight slob but I can pretty much assure you this will be one of his best games of the year, if not the best. And Chandler will have a very good game as well. I&#x27;ve watched them both and I know when they show up (almost never but that will changed in this game). Add Dirk and Monta and a line of -1/-3 Mavs or even -1 Knicks and it will be a very solid spot to back Dallas.

I have not checked the rest of these games to see when they occur but Clippers/OKC at LA is the 1st game of the season for the Clips on TNT on Oct 30th. New owner, excitement, hope and they get a chance at revenge against the team that robbed them in the playoffs coming off a back to back. Oh yeah, OKC is playing Portland on the 29th. You can&#x27;t ask for a better set up, as far as a revenge scenario goes.

[/Quote]And, I forgot to add, the refs will be much kinder to the Clips during their home opener under new ownership than they were in the playoffs when old sterling was farting around and smelling up the joint. So we have that on our side as well.

Rockets maybe, if they catch the Blazers at the right time and place.

The line on Clips game is not off if you think about it. B2B no KD, Clips home. There is still a lot of action on clips although line is at 13. imagine what it would be if it was lets say 10. Last night it was 9 and folks were skeptical including myself. Clips are a better team than blazers in my opinion so you got 4 points difference where 2 of those are for b2b. If this wasn&#x27;t a b2b line would be 11-10.

one more thing. I don&#x27;t think Clippers will ever get a better chance to lay it on them good. Everything is in there favor to show these guys up. I know Doc doesn&#x27;t like to do those things but even he will want his guys to start with a good feel good win after all the crap that happen last year.&#xD;&#xA;Guess what I am saying is you original instinct was good.
