The Bucks are coming off a home & away war with the Heat where the Bucks gave Miami all they could want culminating with a heartbreaking OT loss last night at the Bradley Center. The Bucks went blow for blow with what many consider the best team in the game and there is little doubt that the Bucks will have a hard time getting up for a road game the next night vs the lowly Nets. Bogut played 47+ minutes last night and will clealry not be fresh tonight against a Net team that got bushwhacked last night @ Washington. Besides the obvious, they way these teams lost trickles into tonight's game. While the bucks lost a nail-bitter the Nets were pummeled right out of the gate thus prompting Avery Johnson to use all 12 of his players and all 12 seen at least 10 minutes of action last night - thus a huge boost in a B2B situation. While Harris is banged up and left last nights game all reports are he WILL play. If not the Bucks have more injury problems and i believe Farmar is a solid enough to not become a major drop off anyway. The Nets are playing their last home game before a West coast trip and have lost six of their last seven. They need this one bad.
Detroit Pistons - 1 (2 Units)
Pistons have lost 3 straight with their latest loss coming 4 days ago in LA losing to the Lakers in the final game of a mini west coast swing, which also happened to be the second half of a B2B after a close loss in Utah that seen the Pistons cash as 9 point dogs the night before. Before tonight's home game the Pistons have reason to believe they can be successful at home vs winning teams if the last two weeks are any indication. They lost in OT to the Bulls but have beaten the likes of 24-14 Atlanta, 21-16 New Orleans and 28-7 Boston. All four of these game the Pistons were dogs and all four resulted in a cover for them. I expect that to continue tonight as the Sixers are on the road again, after playing a two games in three nights @ home and this coming after a season long road trip of 8 games. This Sixer team has to be very tired and emotionally spent after avenging a 45 point loss @ the United Center two weeks ago with a big win last night.
