wow this line has dropped from 8 to 6 and there is 77% of public on the Lakers right now......this game is meaningless for LA and they will probably give the bench the majority of the minutes.........Utah on the other hand needs some confidence on the road so a victory here would help them a great deal! This line is set too low and is going the wrong way for LA....I gotta take Utah and I think that the ML for Utah might be a good play as well!! GL

This doesn't matter. The public is always on the Lakers and the line moves often the wrong way. Wouldn't pay much attention on it when the Lakers play.

LAL first half and maybe first quarter, make statement in first half for sure then some subs will fill in 2nd half. But LAL will let UTA know that they are # 1 in the west.

Lakers will roll tonight. Okur will proabably sit out for Utah making it that much easier for a Lakers victory over the road weary Jazz.
that is a good question....I did see that Okur did travel with the team......I would like some confirmation that he plays or sits tho.....Also Utah is playing to advance in seeding so that they dont have to play the #1 seed......I dont think they can afford not to win this game....

do u notice line movements and outcomes aren't correlated? they know that a lot of covers idiots follow this reverse line movement crap... they might just be moving the line for the hell of it....so many covers members try to analyze the line movements.... hello, don't you think Vegas knows that and will use that to their advantage!...anyways if it worked most of the time, do you think any1 on here would lose or have jobs

also I never said it works everytime......but when the majority is on one side and the line goes in their favor that means something happened to some starters or there is some big money coming in on the other team......now if I am betting on the other team and I see that sharps could possibly be betting on the same team as me, I feel pretty good about my bet......people do bet for a living, ask them what they look at....maybe they do look at line movements IDK....

Has anyone thought that lines are move randomly at times to keep us from finding a winning pattern? I know these line movements make me think twice about bets and I probably end up over analyzing the game, at times.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least to have some "industry observers" watch and read some of the top gambling web site forums. Whether or not they make a line movement based on that, I wouldn't know. I just think the strange line movements are there to confuse us.

Ended up taking the Lakers -2 for the 1st qtr. Didn't hit anything else.
Took a big hit with the ponies over the weekend, so I'm trying to build the roll back up. I had the Nets +6 1/2 over Orlando over the weekend and then really felt I should hit the Nets in the 2H, but didn't. Now I wish I did, because the bet I was going to place would have covered all the loses from the ponies. Oh well.
