Shall be at least 6-7 or not?!

Anderson and Davis are not playing for the Pelicans,   These 2 players combined average 40 pts and 15 rebounds.. That is 40% of the 100 ppg that the Pelicans average. and 33% of the 45 rebounds that the team averages.   I see value here with Utah +3.5 but I don't know if I'm going to bet them yet.

OK. There we have it. That's huge! Those, especially, rebounds. Dam! Agreed. Jazz might be play. Pelicans without their back bone in this one. Thanks for info. I knew Vegas doesn't give out gifts after all.

I want to add another thing....

Last time these 2 teams faced each other, Davis and Anderson combined for 59 out of 119 team points and 14 out of 32 team rebounds. That is 49.5% of the points and 43.7% of rebounds.

The game before that Davis and Anderson combined for 48 out of the 106 team points and 20 out of 44 team rebounds. That is 45.2% of the points and 45.4% of the rebounds.

Both games were won by New Orleans.. With these 2 out, look for a different outcome.

Jazz will likely win SU tonight. That's where I put my money. With Davis and Anderson out (and Jrue Holiday still out) I'm not sure where the Pels scoring will come from. Tyreke Evans can only do so much

Here's the thing. Davis was known to be out on Saturday and the opening line didn't come until this morning when it opened at 6.5. Now it's down to 3? IMO Anderson is not worth 3.5 points and the movement is suspect. I could see the line moving a point because of him.

This reeks. The value is gone from the Jazz at this number. It should be a pass but if you got to play it I think you have to go Pelicans.

Davis was not ruled out officially until today and the line moved to reflect it when it was announced. He was highly questionable before. Btw, there's a reason that -6.5 "open" didn't last long. That line was wrong from the beginning. It moved to like 4.5 or 4 pretty much right after open if I'm remembering correctly

The line opened at -5     I don't see -6.5    If this game was to be played in Utah, the line would have been -3 or -4 in favor of Utah.  Since this game is played in New Orleans, the true line in my opinion should be a Pk.

nice work absoutley gents. glad my guy still has 3 and +140. dont think gordon and evans can get it done alone and outside them, not much scoring left on the team.

gordon+ evens 6-8 from 3. youch. that was a nasty 2nd Q, but hopefully jazz can get the energy up and run these fools off the line. ill lay -2 2H saying they dont stay this hot

Unfortunately the "star player out" angle looks to be in full effect here. That's why Pelicans are motivated and hitting everything.
