Utah Jazz @ Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder have lost 6 straight, and 8 of the last 10 games - but they've been competitive in each one. Losing to the Grizzlies by 2, Nets by 2, Rockets by 4, Warriors by 5, Bucks by 7, Pistons by 7, and Nuggets by 7. All this with 48% of their offensive production out of the lineup. This is the most desperate you will see the Thunder in a while as they are needing a win and needing one badly. Most of their recent losses have come in the final minutes of the game - I expect them to come out very aggressive and get to the free throw line early and often. They will not wait until the 4Q again for a close game.
This team will get Durant and Westbrook back very shortly, but can not go 0-4 on their 4 game homestretch before their return as it will dig too big of a hole for them to crawl out of. This is a very experienced team who's gone deep in the playoffs the past several years, they know the importance of winning these next 2 winnable home games against the Jazz and Knicks already being 6 games out of the 8th playoff seed, 15 games into the season.
The Jazz will be unfocused coming into this game. To them, this is just any other game. They already beat the Thunder by 17 eight days ago, and Thanksgiving is a day away. The last thing they want to do is play an unfocused game in OKC against a desperate squad. Thunder will be all-in here, and it will start from the opening tip.
