I hope you jumped on this, because Kerr just announced yesterday that Thompson will probably not play this year! I told you folks, this is going to be an exhibition year for the Warriors. Kerr has been lowering and lowering expectations all summer. Not only because his team is not very good but also because he knows he can't coach them up the way Pop does.

This guy is no grinder. He might have been, if not for back issues he had a couple of years ago when he was celebrating too hard by jumping up and down on the court. After the injury and surgery and migraines, Kerr had an epiphany: "there are more important things in life than basketball." I'm sorry, but give me the coach who lives, eats, breathes basketball any day of the week over the well-balanced, even keeled zen master type (which, btw, kerr, unlike his mentor Phil, he is also not, though he pretends to be). Because guys like Phil Jackson (and Kerr, who is only but a shadow of Phil) will never put in the kind of work guys like Pop put in in order to turn below average talent into average talent and average talent into above average talent.

I can't wait to see this post once the Warriors makes it to the playoffs.....you really are paying much attention to people that doesn't know basketball....preseason doesn't tell you everything. Heck if thats the case might as well make preseason a season...lol

It's not just the preseason. It's the entire vibe of the team and franchise. They're not even going to have real fans cheering them on anymore, or fueling them. No home court, no Thompson, no more Durant, no glue guys like Iggy, and coach who has had it easy for the past years suddenly having to coach. Give me a break...

Thank you for the post BB.Interesting stuff.I didnt see the game yesterday,as now i work,but everything points to an early exit this year fro the warriors.
I dont know about you,but i am actually excited about the curry - russel -stein combination.2 very good shooters with a vertical big(and good one as that) could be deadly even this year and could turn things around for them,maybe to a great season but to enter the playoffs.
It's just a shame that they really miss is a good 3D who could cover the defencies of the non defenders in the spot 1-2.They are gonna be atrocious on D,that's for sure...141 points is way too much for a rested team in their first game.

Another easy winner I never played. Enjoy cashing those tickets kids. You covered this bet 4 games into the season. Under 47.5 games cashes, under 49. 5 games cashes,  to miss the playoffs cashes! That's what happens when a team has no margin for errors. One injury sinks it.
