Remember when the playoffs were night after night of competitive close game.....I feel like every game I watch has no suspense. It's kinda sad. These small lines make no sense anymore. How often does a team not cover 6? They'd rather foul and get the ball back for 3 than play d. It's kinda sad....team go down and jack up 3d and fall further down. Just wish we could go back to 90s nba

What about Nets vs Bucks going into OT, where KD was an inch away from winning the whole series? LeBron or LeFlop 3pt shot to ice it against Warriors. Grizzlies vs Warriors OT? Ayton, inbound shot to win the game?? Stop crying… if you don’t enjoy stop watching. This playoff was 10x times better than last year. My favorite in recent memory, it was so wide open this year.
These are 7 game series… it happens.

the insane amount of money the players get has created a new game of basketball...the 1990s will never come back, those guys had to play every night to make sure they had a job for the next year...thats why games were far more competitive and teams/players usually hated each other genuinely...players changed teams far less often, so there was always this "us vs them" mentality in the league...now they are all on the same banana boat...win or lose, nba players of today make the same type of money, thus winning is just not a top priority by 90% of the leagues players, if not more.
It is what it is...thats why sports gambling is being pushef down the north american throat since the pandemic started...bring the action to everyones home couch, fleece 98% of the public from their "entertsinment" money, and then they have these degens hooked for life...very sad future for most team sports.

Of course! Forget about the Hawks coming back from down 26, forget about the Clippers coming back down 25, forget about Dame Time’s heroics to force TWO OT… Must I continue?
you can always get an indication of someones brain size by the amount of recency bias and confirmation bias they exhibit...and guys in this thread have some of the smallest,non-functioning brains around...theres ALWAYS been blowouts scattered throughout every playoffs..if it was that easy and predictable then just take BOTH teams -15 spread every game and you should be in huge profit, right??no.doesnt work that way..not that simple.
we got one moron in here saying all the players are friends...after watching booker/george and pat beverley, cousins vs cp3...so simplistic and reductive.
but thats what you get with tiny brain syndrome where everything must be basic and black and white.
oh and all that ignores the fact that THE GAME AINT EVEN HALFWAY DONE YET..

The NBA puts out a crappy product for US consumers, but they don't care, because they've consciously put all their eggs in a Chinese basket.
College ball is a much better product in the USA. They actually follow the basic rules of basketball. The NBA is mostly a 2 man pick and roll game with plenty of ball hogs, way too many 3 balls and dunks, and dumb replays of inconsistently applied 5 types of fouls - common, F1, F2, technical and clear path. The college game is a less selfish team game with kids you want to root for, because they play the game the right way, for the right reasons. The NBA is filled with spoiled gazillionaires who sit out every other game to "'rest".
Just for kicks, I looked into Charlotte Hornets tickets early this season. It was going to be $100 when they played ATL, and $350 when the Lakers came to town. Imagine spending $700 so you and your kid can see the Lakers, only to have LBJ and AD sit out that night for "rest".
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

I think the playoffs have been pretty good. I'm not thrilled with today's game either but I think guys suffer from revisionist history when it comes to the old game. With the exception of a few teams, historic Celtics squads, Lakers, etc., teams were, at most, maybe a star, two decent guys, and some guys that were just really tall refrigerator repair men. There were more stacked teams than that, no doubt, but the league was still full of guy's that had no discernible skill and no business in the league. 6 fouls. And the game's we remember as "tough and competitive" often times were just sloppy. That's how memories work, we remember the very best examples of things but not the subpar and mundane.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Atlanta is like 18-3 SU at home as favorites if I remember correctly however tonight I still like Milwaukee with the pts. This is the playoffs not the regular season
