Hello Gents!Many things going on in life, very little time now.But for those with &#x201C;Rockets to win&#x201D; series bets, it needs to be pointed out even though many here are seasoned enough to already know it:You had the RIGHT side in this series (and still might but your hedging odds have gone to shi* now in addition to climbing Mt. Everest and going 2-0).Why?BeginnerBoy and I used to discuss this ALL the time:If Durant does NOT leave the game last night, the Rockets have a FAR better chance of winning than they did WITH him going out.Counterintuitive?No. Not from a psychological capping perspective.The Rockets had the Warriors all tied up after being down TWENTY ready to take the lead, the win and home court back. It was like Ali Foreman. Foreman (Warriors) were falling all over themselves looking for the ropes to hold them up.Now imagine, in between rounds, Foreman is told his child is in the hospital and he needs to get there ASAP after the fight.Boy, does that change history???!!!! That happened last night! Durant has a non-contact injury that takes him out and Steph and Draymond and Klay all step up in his absence, exactly what was NOT happening when they were leaning on Durant.You saw how excited Green was when he hit that three? He thought he was Rocky Balboa and he just knocked out Clubber Lang! You think that happens with Durant on the court? NO. Because he doesn&#x2019;t even take that 3 with Durant on the court. Thankfully you still covered with the Rockets ATS if you had it, but the series bets will need help from above now.The point:An in-game injury WON you the game if you were the Warriors (wrong side in the game and likely the series) and LOST you the game if you were the Rockets.You capped the series RIGHT If you had the Rockets winning it (or at least could hedge and gain profit after a game 5 Rockets win) but something happened that was out of your control no matter how well you capped it.The headlines today say &#x201C;Warriors emerge victorious despite Durant&#x2019;s injury.&#x201D; An article written by a capper reads, &#x201C;Warriors emerge victorious BECAUSE of Durant&#x2019;s injury.&#x201D; Strange but true.

Hey Ragnar.It really is deflating. You take a long-term series bet on the Rockets, get to 2-2, come back from 20 down, have the Dynasty Warriors on the ropes in the 4th to take a 3-2 lead and THEIR lead guy goes down engaging the &#x201C;Superstar goes down in game other players step up&#x201D; angle, to cost you the series.Lakers beat the Warriors earlier this year when a lebron went down in-game.With in-game betting you can profit from this angle if you have the stones to place the bet.
