Early looks I like the bulls against this chucking golden state team. Bulls not a good team to find your shooting rhythm against when you're laying bricks like they are. And yes I like Brooklyn a lot.... need to see of Blatche and Kirilenko are playing.... that will be key.
FYI, line on Warriors game should be 7, opened it purposely at 8 so if you were to take now you'd have an edge, but I like Brooklyn a lot more.
Warriors can get hot anytime, I'd love to fade them again, but I'm worried I'm going to get burned at some point. Under might be a safer play considering either way, a blowout = possible under, bulls win = under since they'll be controlling boards, playing more of a half-court pace and Warriors would probably have to have a poor shooting night for it to stay under either way.

Although the Spurs are resting everybody, don't count this team out. They're still a brilliantly coached team, and their system allows for players to seamlessly be inserted in the lineup and still excel.
Leaning Spurs ATS at whatever it is, if it dips below 4 or 5 for any reason ( don't think it will since people will be pounding Nets - whatever knowing that Duncan is out)
If we can snag a 7 here, we're in business.
Just a lean, nothing more.

haha GeneCam27 quit making excuses for Carmelo. The dude has averaged like 2 assists his whole career and has never made a effort to play any defense what so ever. He makes no one better around him. All he is a is a scorer, (one of the best in the NBA) but thats all he is. He dominates the ball and all he plays is straight Isolation ball and you just throw it too him down on the low block and get out of the way. When he has the ball seems like nobody is moving and everyone is just standing watching. Other than the western conference finals he made with Denver and the one playoff series he and the Knicks won last year against a old and broken down Celtics team he's been one and done in the playoffs every year. Carmelo will never win a title not unless he decides too change his game and start playing both ends of the floor and starts making others around him better hands down.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but Cam is actually pretty dead-on with his analysis.
You guys want NYC to play like the Spurs, but they're unable to do so for several reasons. First of all, they do lack the personnel necessary to play ball like that. Most of their players are subpar passers, and a lot of them aren't as intelligent as the Spurs' players.
Also, the coaching staff in NYC couldn't hold a candle to the staff in San ANtonio. Pop and his staff(s) always bring guys aboard who are highly-disciplined, versatile, and most importantly, unselfish.
NYC needs a major rehaul from the ground-up, and part of it includes their staff. Woodson isn't the worst coach in the world, but his system isn't doing their team any favors. Too much isoball, and this was a criticism against him going back to his time with the Hawks.
Melo is carrying the team because your squad simply lacks the talent to play ball like the Spurs. None of your players know how to cut to the rim off ball like a the spurs can, and you have blackholes like JR Smith who are simply lost causes.
Your team is full of shooters who aren't shooting the ball particularly well, mediocre defenders, and a lack of an identity and clear lack of will or desire to win on a nightly basis.
Melo is doing whatever he can given the terrible situation he's in. He'd flourish somewhere with an actual team around him.

I will agree that Melo is the only one on that Knicks team that is giving his best effort night in night out. But I'm not analyzing Melos situation in New York I'm just talking about his game. think the problem with Knicks is the front office and James Dolan. They put a horrible team together and signed JR Smith too a long term deal when he absolutely disappeared in the playoffs last year. Only guy I see on that team improving each game is Hardaway Jr. But yes I never said Carmelo couldn't score. He's one of the best in the NBA at scoring. I'm just saying he's never made the effort too really improve his game when it comes too playing defense assists and making others better around him.

nice work again whisky-man....you a bit short on time lately??dont seem to be around as much during the day.....anyhow keep em coming buddy
My work days are sporadic, friend. If you see my posts early around 11-12, it means I'm posting from work.
Otherwise, I try to do it whenever.
I'm on my computer a lot during the day, but I'm pretty brisk with my picks. Just take a peek at the projections of every game, take a peek at the spread, and try to visualize in my head what's going to happen as far as teams go.
If it's a real tough board I might deliberate longer, but if there's one play I like, I try not to hesitate.
Always good to see your posts though
