The NBA is such a grind. Made 38 units last season. Shooting for at least 25 this season. Should be a lot closer to that but I’ve had a lot of bad beats this season.
Today’s Leans:
Cavs +8: The Cavs are 0-4 but I think Vegas is giving them too many points in this one. There’s a lot of people on the Cavs roster that can score the ball. Contrary to popular opinion, I actually think they are pretty deep, and simply adjusting to life without Lebron. Detroit is solid defensively, but the offense is average at best. Even if Pistons are able to control the pace (a big “if”), it will be a slow game which usually means a relatively close one. I’ll have to dig deeper into the numbers but I definitely lean Cavs.
POR -3.5: Kinda feels like a sucker bet but I do like it a lot. Magic have a .500 record but don’t let that fool you. They are one of the worst teams in the league. In fact, they are the very worst team in terms of PPG. The offense looks terrible, and 90% of the Magic’s wins this season will come against poor defensive teams. Portland ranks in the middle defensively, but I think this is more the result of them trying to push the pace(which they were vocal in the off-season about doing). Nurkic is great on defense, as are Harkless and Aminu. Hate to see so much of the public backing Portland, but I have to admit I see why they are doing so.
Finsihing up at work right now. I’ll be back around 5 Eastern Time to post ant Picks I’ve locked in. BOL,

I agree with you about the Detroit – Cavaliers spread. But I’m not touching it one way or the other. As bad as the Cavaliers have looked I could see this being a blowout, also because this is the second game of the back to back.

Yeah I feel you it’s kind of an ugly game to bet but sometimes there’s an angle in that

As you might have guessed, the Kevin Love news is making the Cavs a no play for me. The over still interests me though. As I mentioned, the Cavs have lots of scorers.
