Line opened at -2 Raptors at 11:00 AM at my book yesterday and in one minute it was down to pickem and then Raptors +1 by the end of the day. Today it’s Denver -2. A 4 point swing from the opening line where the books installed Toronto as favorites. Action Network shows almost 90% of actual money is on Denver. Who in their right mind is on the Raptors today? Raptors have lost 9 straight. Powell and Lowry could be traded today, so there is a possibility one or both may sit. This seems like such a no-brainer. And yet...who doesn’t expect some funny business?

To me it feels like a rock bottom angle game from the Raptors perspective (having lost to the worst team in the league) and a trap game for Denver with a slight look ahead to NO who just beat them up in Denver. And all that money on Denver is scary.

IMO....
I think the lines makers tried to bluff the public with a trap line... it didn’t work so they had to move that line accordingly...
These are just my crazy beliefs....

Seems fishy for sure. When i saw the line last night i was like are you kidding me ? But you know the saying if it seems to good to be true it probably is. Ill still throw a few bucks at denver but will not at all be suprised if somehow someway denver shits the bed and raps win.

I wouldn’t pay any mind to that. What Denver will be just before game time is what matters along with the status of the players in Toronto specifically. There’s mismatches in size here as well. Ever think that maybe the books are anticipating parlay betters to take Denver and Over and that could be the reason for a short line when really the Raptors will most likely get pounded and game will go under? Or maybe the public has this game completely right and a Denver and Over play wins so they play with the line to confuse people such as yourself.

Btw I actually screenshot lines often in the middle of the night since I live a nocturnal life more often than not. CBS Sports and Covers had Denver -1.5. If it goes to -1 and now moves to -2 it really means nothing. If you think Denver will lose or win by one because of this that is just plain stupity. Not trying trying to call you stupid but there’s just nothing you can come up with based on the line moving a .5 point down then back up 1 point. You’re really just putting too much strain on your brain and overthinking this and thinking you can outsmart the odds when the reality is Denver is the much better team.

Anyone think that Toronto comes out hard to send Kyle Lowry off with a W in his last game in Raptors uniform?
That and the rock bottom are the only angles I see favoring the Raptors. Denver is also a team that has a stinker now and again, but they just lost to NO a couple of days ago, so they should be on their guard. I’m going with the initial line move on this and taking the Nuggets ML but nothing surprises me with this league anymore.

New Orleans on deck for Denver. The Raptors have huge pride. Small play for me on Toronto.
