Question

Stephon Curry&#x27;s getting all the hype.  But Dragic is leading a team with less talent to more wins.  Dragic is 6&#x27;4" and is not a defensive liability against bigger guards.   Anyone disagree?

yep,even tho i dont like him or his game curry is a more valuable player it has to be said...he doesnt do everything exceptionally well(except for shoot the ball of course),but he does them all well enuff and slightly better than goran i believe...but it certainly is not by a landslide by any means...no doubt dragic is one of the most slept on players in the league(put him in the paul milsap category) and does suffer from a lack of exposure and not being in the right situation with the right people to sit in his corner and hype him up......but the cat is one crafty,effective scorer thats pretty efficient at his size and you are right stevenp,to lead that collection of young cast-offs and unproven talent to relevance and respectability is quite some feat.in my opinion by top nba point guard standards curry is a rather weak ball-handler and can be awfully turnover-prone often and we know his defense is practically non-existent-too small,too weak...but he makes up for it in other areas being an offensive juggernaut on any given nite and being clutch when needed.interesting debate however

Ask again 2 years.Dragic is 2 years older than curry. Curry is only 25. Athletes in most sports don&#39;t peak until their mid to late 20&#39;s, then begin to decline in the early 30&#39;s.So you should either look back 2 years ago and see how dragic compared to the curry of today or wait 2 years for curry to get to dragic&#39; current age.

thanks for defending me against a guy who&#x27;s in the penalty box.  the reason it&#x27;s valid in a betting forum; it might help people realize that goran 6&#x27;4", can defend and make his teamates better DRAGIC is playing better than gimpy ankle, small, lazy defense great shooter, turnover prone stephen curry.  so that when they play each other you can bet dragic this year and your 2-1 ats.  mostly, it can wake you up to &#x9;PHOENIX IS NUMBER ONE AGAINST THE SPREAD 33-16-1 and golden state, due to the curry phenomena of public perception, is 21st against the spread at 22-27-2.  hope this helps you make money.

you pretty much hit the nail on the head!   curry is the darling of the league cause his game is so cute.  but i&#x27;ve been awestruck by dragic&#x27;s play this year; which, in comparison to curry at his best, appears much more under control.  DRAGIC can take it to the rack and finish at the rim.  curry can&#x27;t.  obviously most people would say curry&#x27;s better.  but it&#x27;s quite debatable at this point.  thanks for your thoughtful input.

Looking at both players shooting from 2 pt, 3 pt shots and FT's.

Dragic shoots 60.15% per every possession he shoots the ball

Curry 58.5%

Dragic is actually the more effective shooter, he gets to the line much more than Curry.

Dragic takes 1 FT for every 2.42 shots from the field.

Curry takes 1 FT for every 3.87 shots from the field, which is not all that great.

Curry does make-up somewhat by taking more 3 pt shots.

2.24 overall shots from the field for every 3 pt shot

Dragic 3.82 shots from the field for every 3 pt shot.

Factoring in TO's..........................

Dragic shoots 51.42%

Curry 49.15%.

Not sure about the rest of each players games, but isn't Curry 2cd in the league in assist at 9.9 ?
