Just curious here to know the mindset of the public
Thanks in advance for any responses.
I just think it's insane personally to pick Dubs to win this on the road AGAIN This year. If you like dubs, why not in 7??
Just curious to know the logic behind people's plays for game 6
I personally will guess that the overwhelming majority will say it's because GS rarely loses 2 straight and wont want to risk a game 7 at home...or maybe because Green the MVP is back now. But to me, the game 7 would be on my mind if I was a warrior backer.

Because LeQueen is an overrated lil baby, who always complains to the refs. He is not even in the same ballpark as Kobe. Wade was the true leader of the Heat, and LeBrick has never won without him. The only reason Lebitch is any good at all is because the refs give him 20 ft/gm. No chance in hell that Cleveland will ever win a ring in any sport. Also that Love guy is white and is soft as baby poo. Chumpert is a "mistake player" and that's putting it kindly. Delly D is Austrian, the coach used to wear cornrows, Frye gets eaten on D. How can this team of clowns beat the Golden Boy himself, Steph Curry?

I agree...Wade was the true leader...as well as the MVP of that team.
But you're saying "No chance in Hell" Cleveland ever gets a ring in any sport. That just leaves me with more questions.......
Why? We are in game 6, one win away from the final game. How does that equate to "No chance in hell?"
And still, your theories could be right and dubs still win in 7. I am trying to figure out here the logic behind betting against Cleveland at home in a must win.

I'd say a great bet would be the 1st half under 105 if you look at the totals for the series this sticks out as much as a sore thumb as Cavs winning G5, every win thus far has been the winner score 100+ and the loser less than 100 in a series that saw 2 games with both in the 90s and 4 games under 195 last season, now we are coming off halves of 105 and 121 in a crunch time series that's known for 92-101pt 1st halves. With Green back Ws will be preaching defense and i can't imagine Cavs start lights out 55, 61 3 games in a row. The fact is when these 2 teams play a tightly contested game which i expect this to be, the 1st half goes well under. We are in a situation where 1st half is due to regress and we are due for a close game and Ws are due to clamp down on Cavs and Cavs are due to not come out on fire = 1st half under 105 for me, it's crunch time and time to play some solid defense like they've done in the past

Golden State is the better team by a landslide and the better team always wins. The only reason the Cavs made it this far is because they play in the JV Eastern. People who says that it's fixed to go 7 are crazy conspiracy theorists. Those tin foil hats they wear in their parents basements have caused dementia. Adam Silverstein don't care about money or ratings. He's in it for the love of the game. Kylie won't get lucky to hit all those shots again. If Steven Curry come to play, he will hit just about every 3 he takes. The only ones he misses were because he got fouled but this time Doctor Dremond will be there to clean up those boards. Did I mention Lefraud isn't even that good of a player?

I know you're just being polite by saying "They" and you actually think I'm the crazy one. It's ok. You can call me crazy. I don't care. But aluminum causing Alzheimers...now that's a REAL conspiracy!

Like it.
Full Game should go under as well.

With a 14.2 rating in metered market results, last night’s NBA Finals
Game 5 hit a high for the 2016 series. The previous high in the early
numbers was the 13.1 that the Warriors winning Game 1 scored on June 2.
While matching last year’s Game 5 result in MM numbers, last night’s
game peaked with a huge 16.2 rating in the closing 11:30 – 11:45 PM ET
slot. That means last night matched the best Game 5 on ABC since the
15.5 MM rating that the Detroit Pistons’ clincher over the L.A. Lakers
snared in 2004. Compared to June 11’s Game 4, last night’s MM results
were up 18%.
that Adam Silver cares about ratings.. they are selling a product to the networks in exchange for money . networks charge more money during high rating events.

If he cared about money so much his last name would be gold. The fact that NBA promoted someone with the name Silver shows that it's not about the money anymore. It's about the love of the game. How's my tinfoil hat look now?

The mindset of GS needs to win or else have the risk of losing game 7 also. Thats their mindset.
Dont care about who is the best team here......
Cavs will play their most important game of the season. Kyrie and lebron will play their hearts out on this and pls dont forget of the homecourt advantage.
People think that the smartest play is GS and if they lose, double up in game 7. I find this stupid and those who will do this are diehard GS fans.
For me, will just focus on game 6 win or lose. Cavs ML for me....

So I guess this is some evidence that 3BallBomber's theory about Lebron losing gets higher ratings might not hold water.
I personally thought that was strange. Is silver and the league really going to rig it for LeBron to lose every season, just to get them a bit higher ratings?
But last night Cavs won and it got the highest ratings yet? Good sign I guess for us cavs backers!

I always say if you don't have a little crazy in you, then you probably have a lot of stupid in you.
We live on a thin layer of an enormous yet minuscule rock in a crazy behind universe filled with dark matter, surrounded by a soup of quantum uncertain goo, yet the drones call you crazy because you think a business prioritizes money first and foremost.
Although the idea of keeping the sheeples entertained being more important than maximizing profit does have some merit.
Even though Lebaby will never be able to jam like Kobe, Kylie will save the day.

Well if I thought sports was all real, no scripting, no league, ref, money or power influences involved I would actually think it's a pretty smart idea, because GS would be a lock in game 7.
But considering the reality of the situation I agree it's not the best thing to do here. Instead bet 1 unit to win 20 on cavs by riding winnings (too late for that now, but you can still make $750 for a $150 investment, assuming you get CLE at -150, and +200 for the next two

I agree with you with all these theorys i been on that tip for years .. Crazy everything u said is how i look at it.. Only thing i think is the nba could bank more ln the appeal of lebron still chasing that ring in cleveland.. warriors cap of historic season in game 7 in front of their fans and lebron still chasing

I don't like how the Cavs won Game 5. Iso ball with Irving & James…..u win one game that way not a series. Fools gold.. Kyrie will take too many shots in Game 6… no way he shoots 70%. James is a terrible jump shooter. This will be a repeat of game 4 where the Cavs offense stalls.

The 'public' is 100% on the Cavs and it's not even close. Majority think it is going 7 games so I'm not sure where you the idea that Warriors are the public choice for game 6.

You're only thinking about people who are chasing game 5 loss into game 6.
What if I didn't bet game 5? What if I bet game 5 Cavs? People chasing (betting the Warriors til they win) will be low. I'm sure there will be some out there that will be chasing. Some might think they are the better play. One thing for sure is that, not many people are using that mentality as their reason for betting the Warriors.
Lot of bettors, especially in playoffs/championships are recreational bettors that bet only during these times. They don't bet during the regular season or not often.
This last thing is a tip that has nothing to do with this game, just an example. It's not always about the percentage. It all comes down to where the money is. If 1000 people bet the Warriors for $10, that is $10k on the Warriors. If 100 bet $200 on the Cavs, that's $20k on the Cavs. Although the public is on the Warriors (based on %), the money is on the Cavs. That's why public wins sometimes. You can't fade the public all the time or else everyone would be doing it. People have tried that strat and failed. The key is fading the money and unless you have some insider knowledge of where the money is, you will never know where the money is. These percentages mean nothing, on covers and any other site because they all differ. If there is 10k people on covers giving an opinion on game 6. 6k ppl on the warriors, 4k ppl on cavs. ESPN has 100k ppl giving their opinion. 54k on cavs. 46k on warriors. percentages are way off, but overall if add you add them together, it is 50/50. never trust percentages, cap the game to your ability and go from there. or find out where the money is.
