Why are the Lakers only +4 ? and o/u 193

Seems pretty strange to me a team gets beat by 20 points and only +4 next game .I was figuring they would have it @6 to 6.5  and the u/o stays the same yet the last three have went under the total infact 70% between these two  have gone under  meaning 7 out of the last 10 .You think I am not going against those numbers ? well ur wrong because I am .Bullshit leaving the total the same after all three go under  and then making La only 4 point dogs wtf are they thinking .Try to win me over to Sanantonios side when I know that this isn't NEW oRLEANS THEY ARE PLAYING ANYMORE . Lakers will find a way to win outright . they messed this one up  no kidding .

man I am telling you that Phil Jackson is the master of adjustments and will do so while the Spurs always stay the same .Now if L.A can win this game it's going to be damn rough for Sanantonio to be in this series the rest of the way .

lakers is my lean for now....
 
but the spurs are a very though team at home. they haven't lost at home since the playoffs. my question is, how the lakers can cover the low line if the spurs wants to tie the series?

Look for a much better effort from LA here. They obviously came in with the typical we need to win 1 of the 2 games thinking. Wether they can do it is the problem. They came in as 4 pt dog in Utah series game 4, then were bet to being fav -1 by tipoff. Losing in OT by 8.

exactly! the lakers are very good in adjusting! and i think they will stop manu this time! this will be a close game i think..

how about robert horry giving some cheap shots to odom. maybe that's why odom can't get inside in his comfort zone. IMO, this will be the start of hard fouls as you all saw the last game.

Linesmakers set lines in an attempt to attract even money on both sides. As heavily as these games are wagered on, by accomplishing this equilibrium, they are guaranteed huge profits. 
 
Seems to me, after 3 games into this series, they've got it nearly correct. Spread and O/U public-wagering percentages- as of now- are close to even.
 
This game needs to get capped on the merits of the teams, and not on any subtle indication by the books, as to which side they want you to take.... at least not at this point in time.
 
My gut, says lakers... but its hard to go against spurs at home; and thus I'm personally on the fence. The books arent providing any clues; The NBA almost certainly would like to see the spurs win this game, which would guarantee (at least) a game 6. So, I may have a small bias twrd the Spurs minus this relatively small number, but hardly ready to declare them as my pick.

Haven't you heard of the bounce-back theory ???
As Spurs routed Lakers in the last game, they think Lakers will be more competitive in game 4 ... thus the line comes down from -5 to -4. If Lakers won game 3 ... then Spurs would be -6 or -7 for this game, as they would be EXTRA desperate to win game 4.

I think that is the way it usually goes ???

Anyway, Spurs -4 at home is good value, regardless of whether they cover or not ... regardless of whoever they are playing. Spurs are ALMOST unbeatable at home. If they lose ... well done to the Lakers. But ... think about the scenario :
- Lakers get out to DD lead ... Spurs CAN comeback and get the cover
- Spurs get out to DD lead ... Lakers will struggle to get that lead down and cover

Spurs look like good value to me.

Flopnobili is NOT going to go 5-7 from 3 point range

Spurs will NOT shoot 52%

Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher, and Gasol WILL have bounce back games

I also think the Lakers need to start putting Flopnobili and Ms. Parker on their asses. Possibly emplore Chris Mihm to "enforcer" duties and rough 'em up a bit.

Because Joey Crawford is reffing the game and he hates the Spurs for some reason.  The NBA wants the Lakers to move on and that is why David Stern assigned Joey Crawford to this game. The conspiracy continues!

And may I add:

SA won't let Kobe score 12 points in within 2 minutes again. The final score was very misleading in the last game.  It was not even close to 170 points if SA didn't relax their defense in the last few minutes of the game.  What do all of these do besides the fact that the Under is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings in San Antonio?.  SA will continue to do what they do best at home which is playing defense, Flopnobili will not continue to have that magical touch, Kobe won't have that 4 threepoint successful shots in within 2 minutes although I believe they will compensate with better free throws tonight.  I predict an ugly defensive game tonight.  The total line stays about the same for a good reason.  UNDER is the play because defensive wins championship.

Completely and totally agree!

This is why I'm already on the UNDER at 192.5...the UNDER has been money for me in BOTH Conference Finals series. I think the trend continues...

Lakers moneyline that is .This - 4 crap for Sanantonio  is bs  .Funny line not moving at all . now i will say o/u total has gone up now to 193.5 so either it's a move by the books or some one put some heavy cash down on the over
