I'm talking about the feeling when you are losing even tho you have won. Last week I won 5k. But since Monday until today I have already lost 4k. In Summary I still have made 1k profit but I feel damned and want to take 4k loss back. Is that gambling life supposed to be?

happens man, thats just the way it is. dont linger about it too long. cant stay good all year long, you will have good streaks and bad. 3/4 of my regular season profits have been wiped out in the playoffs. if i lose another 5-10% in the Finals im going to salvage whatever i have left and take it easy. just a matter of when to cut off the bleeding and let it heal that is up to you to decide
Sip on that plus money honey!

Sounds like you you were feeling yourself too much after the good week and went a bit heavier thinking the streak would continue and then things evened out as they always will eventually.
Picking winners isn't the hardest part of gambling, bankroll management is
The psychology of it plays into the bookies hands. I've seen a guy win 900k, but even though he was playing cards for 2 days straight and was exhausted, wouldn't quit until he had 'an even mill's. Eventually he was down to 500k, which was still nearly all profit (started with less than 20), but he wanted to get back up to the 900 he had, get down to 200, now he just wants to get back to 500, lost it all and had to borrow money to keep playing. Ended up in debt. That's not even chasing losses he got buried chasing 100k when he had 900k profit.
Be glad you're not down and take your 1k and wait for something good (I would just take GSW to win the Finals) that way you'll get at least 4 games of action, a very good chance at profit even though it won't be large, then bball will be over and you can decide for yourself if the psychology of gambling is still worth it. For many it isn't, and even pros take breaks, sometimes long ones
DONT put it on a friggin 3 teamer as suggested. They're far from easy to hit (I'm guessing it's baseball he's talking about). Parlays are a loser long term, even with 3 heavy ML favs one will often screw your bet.
