No. Even though I have a small investment on a futures ticket, everything went wrong in game one. Lack of energy and the fact they dominated the season series mindset humbled the Lakers 

I've said it all season they are one of 3 teams in the west that can win road games against the best teams in the west and east. 

Don't sleep on these Lakers. 

Yes of course they could. Pretty even matchup, LA is not much if anything better then the Twolves.

Lakers going down to T-Wolves.  Easiest game on the board yesterday.

When Luka came to LA, he told Rob to get him a lob presence/legit big man. If you think they’re winning a ring with Jaxon Hayes I have to say you are smoking crack. To win they will have to play small.  Lebron 10 years ago? Probably have a real shot.  But not without a big man presence now, they are not winning shit. 

The league can fix anything that is broken.

Outscored in the paint 44-32.  Outrebounded 44-38. Fast break points 25-6.  

Lakers are hoping to win a half court game with no big man in the nba. Not exactly the best recipe for small lineup success.

 Golden state won it without a dominating big man. I'm not defending the lakers fallacies or Lukas poor defense. All I'm saying the Lakers play differently with or without their super stars and are capable of beating the best teams. Don't sleep on them this series. I think Boston wins it all, but 3 teams out of the west are capable of dethroned them. The Lakers were not going to won with AD either. 

21 wolves fouls and only 10 lakers fouls is what will make this series close

AD is good for 1or 2 games and then digresses….He’s not built for a series let alone multiple series. I personally don’t think Luka is in shape for multiple series. 

You can make up for not having a big man if you are good at playing small ball that is my point. 25-6 in fast break points does not favor lakers small ball.  Golden state one of the best small ball teams in the history of basketball with the greatest shooter in the history of basketball.  You really can’t compare the two.  I agree lakers wouldn’t win with AD either. That’s why it was a good move for them long term. But Luka isn’t a game changing defensive player, he needs as much help as possible to make up for his inability to contest shots at the peak height against way better athletes than him. Jaylon Brown ate his lunch in the finals last year. 

I have always said Luka would never win a ring unless he goes to a superstar team with multiple stars.  He is at that team now but still needs more help with the current roster. 

Yeah I agree I don’t see any other outcome than Celtic repeat. Just about who they face. I was thinking the obvious with Celtics vs OKC but could see OKC getting knocked off 

OKC will probably get knocked off….  Young teams need to go through growing pains. But who knows? They have been throttling teams all season and home court matters.

 Let's let this series play out and see. REDDICK has made a difference and that where I started to believe that this team is capable. I have never been a big Luka fan but if REDDICK can earn his keep he will make necessary adjustments to try to change the mindset of a winning team and believing they can get the job done.

Multiple superstars or not Luka needs to change his ways if he is wanting to win a championship. He is still a boy chatting with fans and arguing calls. Stop getting fat and focus on his body and play defense.  He has time to change all those things and hope it's before Lebron retires. 

Wolves were also smart to only play Rudy Gobert 24 min. They will answer lakers small ball with small ball of their own. And not allow the lakers to continually put Gobert in pick and rolls in key situations.  If they aren’t do that every time Rudy is on the floor, then he gets to stay low in the post guard someone who isn’t better than him and be able to help out and contest shots since he doesn’t have to really defend a post presence, which he is not very good at. Much better as a help defender.  A lot favors twolves to win this series. 

If the Lakers can’t get out in transition or at least neutralize the transition game they have near zero chance!

Lol fully agree. Lots of Luka dickriders out there who think it’s everybody else’s fault besides Luka. Never seen a player cry to the refs as much instead of running back on defense.  I see it in soccer that’s about it. And it’s not a European thing because Dirk was a straight up gangsta and never said shit. Same with Porzingis, never says shit.  It’s crybaby Luka.  Simple as that. You can’t win when you beg the refs to call a foul everytime you miss a shot.  Fucking hate that shit. 

I agree Reddick will make adjustments. And I think they’ll get game 2.  I think twolves take it 4-2 tho. I’m not too sure what those adjustments are though and how you adjust something that you don’t have. But I think for them to win Austin Reeves needs to play a bigger role in the scoring and facilitating department. He needs a 25+ point game in game 2 and they’ll win. 

Tough matchup for the Lakers.  Wolves absolutely throttled the Suns 4-0 last playoffs with being more physical.  I’m not sure the Lakers have the personnel to match the dogs that Minnesota can throw out.  Jaxson Hayes as the standalone big is not going to do much of anything.  You could argue this is the worst matchup for the Lakers of any team in the west.  

If Wolves continue making their corner 3s there is nothing Lakers can do because they will pack the paint regardless(because of size disadvantage) so Wolves will always have those wide open 3s. 

I think all the casuals thought “oh this is the team Luka destroyed last year with the Mavs where they won 4-1 and he just pulled Gobert away from the basket and dominated him. And now he has LeBron.” I think that’s what the public perception was going into the series.   And maybe that’s a little bit of what the Lakers thought as well.  T wolves countered small though because they could. Lakers I bet play Hayes more going forward in this series as well.
