Wizards Vs Pacers - My Oh My, I PRAYED the Pacers would win Game 7 to get my betting hands on this!

BTW, Vegas got killed today, with both public dogs coming through.

I also think the Pacers winning may impact the Heat/Nets series. Can't see the Heat wanting to stretch this thing out now that the Pacers are almost done.

doesn't work like that. Agenda is a diff animal. Pacers perception was "horrible" after Atlanta, I predicted Indy in 5, which will happen and all of a sudden Indy perception is they are back, just in time for the ecf. Miami series will go longer vs bk, lessening their perception to "struggle" vs nets. All setting up the agenda's ecf.

Miami isn't going to all of the sudden win this series quicker cause pacers series ends quick. League doesn't work like that.

Well thank god you went ML on the Clips (and they only had to overcome a modest 22 point deficit to win it). These playoffs may be the most exciting but man, they have to be the toughest to bet in recent memory.

Although this series bet may be toast (Jim Carrey did in fact end up getting the girl, in real life too amazingly!) I have saved a ton of money these last two games staying away from Wash. I probably lost a ton in game 1 but not betting them, but the net result would have been worse.

So to counter your misery, here is our glimmer of hope:

The Wiz are 7-1 SU and a red hot 8-0 ATS in the road in their last 8 extending back into the regular season (we need the SU obviously).

AND

If they can get it to 3-2, they come home where I would be very hard pressed to believe any playoff team will lose three straight in their home floor in the playoffs no matter what.

So if they can make it to 3-2 and given how they've played on the road despite the disastrous game 2 ending as you noted, I love the wiz in a possible game 6. Game 7, of course pacers in blowout looms after two straight losses but there is a shot to get there.

Really, Hibbert, the abominable basketball player, waking from his slumber (or should a say stupor), is what is putting Indy over the edge here in two of three of these games and the series. And to bet on him in game 2 and this series, given his failures and complete shutdown previously, was like playing Russian roulette except the gun had 5 bullets in its 6 shooter, not one.

Actually I predicted Hibbert would have a good series here based on matchups. It's not difficult to see how he has played well this series. Your perception is just flawed. Wizards playing in the ECF is laughable. They lost by 22 in g3, blew a 17 pt lead in g4, now go back to Indy. Wiz kids are done.

Laughable huh? Well now it's time to put you on display. Be sure to pull your pants up when I are done because you about to get undressed.

And your prediction is not only misguided, it was quite foolish and had no basis in reality. It was all 'luck based' and happened to go in your favor. Now your own hand that placed the bet (of you even bet on the pacers to win the series - highly unlikely) is hitting your own shoulder with glee.

Such a prediction might be akin to someone at a roulette table seeing 8 blacks in a row and them saying "Red is due!", playing it, winning and them strutting away from the casino like they are Vince McMahon walking down a wrestling ramp.

No, the bet on Hibbet having a good series because of matchups, and by default, you hoping he would 'turn it around,' was worse.

Because your bet was grounded in reality not luck. And that is whwre capping comes in, since you can't 'cap' a roulette spin.

Hibbert had not one, not two, not three but SEVEN (of EIGHT!) games so bad, that people started to believe he was a mental case.

Those games were so bad, in the aggregate, that they were the worst for any all-star in the playoffs ever (and all-stars usually make the playoffs so the sample is unbelievably significant for all of NBA history).

Where were you after game 1 of this series after his third straight ZERO AND ZERO in 3 of 4 games (save 2 rebounds in one)? Nowhere of course. Because the wizards won that game by 6 and did it so convincingly, the entire series was well in hand.

Had they hit a single three in a stretch of 3 minutes, they could have gone up 2-0. So save the "getting to the ECF" was laughable and 'flawed' talk. This isn't the Blazers Spurs here and mind you, the series isn't over.

Laslty, your opening statement lends itself to your lack of credibility Of which is about the size of a mustard seed at this point.

How in the world is Pero Antic a WORSE matchup when compared to Gortat/Nene (take your pick)? Antic isn't really even a center and plays along the perimeter waiting to launch threes and is an atrocious rebounder. And even against HIM, Hibbert put up two zero and zeros (save two measly rebounds)!

Antic is 37th among all centers on scoring and an amazing 47th (yes even backups are better than him in both categories, some by a mile!) among all centers in rebounding. He is so bad, that had Hibbert been playing GREAT basketball coming in the series, you should have said that the center matchup was one of the WORST changes from the Altanta series for the Pacers in terms of favoribility.

Need I go on? No, I'm tired of typing. This is sufficient.

Heres a nickel. Go play some roulette. But when I find ya begging for loose change in the parking garage stairwell, don't say I didn't want ya about that game...and the way you cap.
