PAPER -non boldREAL    - BOLD .1.  Hawks -6.5.  Hawks are on a different roll.  They blasted two upward trending teams on the road vs Hawks and the raptors.  Grizzlies just had a big win and got up emotionally to much for the Lakers - big let down to come.  REAL. 2.  Raptors -4.5 Paper.  Raptors played 2 tough teams and lost, but maybe they are in a funk.  Wizards are playing really good ball, but spanked the Raptors last time.  Could be close game too, so I&#x27;ll Pass.3. &#x9;OK -7 &#x9;I liked the NETS &#x2B;5 vs OK WITH Harris in lineup.  Now I don&#x27;t like it &#x2B;7 without HARRIS.  Gordon burned (clippers) farmar for 30 when Harris was out.  PASS

4. Pistons &#x2B;11.5 - Pass - just not a good feeling but all indications pick against the HEATS obviously.  PASS5. Celtics -7 - this should be close to the spread or blowout.  I really don&#x27;t think the way the blazers are playing that this should be a contest.  In fact, I think I should pass on this but I am going to the the Celtics -7.  Roy back-to-back on bad knees.

6. Hornets -8 ; Oh how I hate it when the star of team is out; S.Jackson of th bobcats out. Bobcats has been playing well as of late as evident of keeping NY knicks close and other teams close too, but really hasn't played anyone tough. The question is: is the hornets that tough? Not lately. They did destroy blazers on the road, which might make you think twice on picking the bobcats. Toss up, but the combo of hornets playing like crap and jackson out, I'll go with hornets -8.

7. Bulls -2 Wow; two opposite records in regards to ATS in the bulls and the magics. Rose is a monster this year, and basically carrying the Bulls to a 9-6 record with good shooting from outside too when he does penetrate to dish off to. I think if anything, Boozer coming back is a distraction to the flow of the offense....likely and it will throw things off? There will be no letdown from the teams as they will be up for the challenge, but the bulls more up than the magics. Talk about flipping a coin - but I will have to go with the Bulls -2

8.  Lakers -6  are in a funk and coming ANOTHER loss to make it 3 in a row.  Let&#x27;s just put it down that they will not lose 4 in a row to a the rockets.  The team will not let this happen.  I mean TEAM.  Now if Aaron Brooks was in lineup, I might say otherwise but not without speedy Brooks who causes probs to the Lakers slow and aging PGs.     Lakers need a win, and they want to lay down the hammer.  Rockets has played good teams tough at home lately, but how can you go against the Lakers after loss #3?  I can&#x27;t .

HHmmmm....am I always betting on the favorites? I might have to review my last 10 NBA choices that I have gone 6-1 on.

Anyhow,

My final/reach choices are

Lakers -6

Celtics -7

Hawks -6.5

all others are paper picks

The answer to my question is "Yes". I do wager mainly on favorites. What does that mean? It means nothing as long as I am choosing the right side of the spread. lol.

My last 7 caps of NBA games (6-1); only one was a dog, and it won. Small sample, but I think I lean towards the favorites. Oh well....whatever. Hopefully I can see a trend on my "paper" picks that I can make $$ out of.
