Lions QB Jared Goff didn’t throw a single incompletion in the 42-29 win, going 18-for-18 for 292 yards and two touchdowns.

In doing so, Goff became the first QB in NFL history to attempt more than 10 passes in a game without throwing an incompletion, according to the NFL.

Bills D in trouble

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Bills defensive end Von Miller has been suspended four games without pay for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, the league announced Tuesday.

The suspension appears to stem from allegations that Miller assaulted his pregnant girlfriend in November 2023 during the Bills' bye week in suburban Dallas. The NFL did not respond to ESPN's request for clarity over the nature of the suspension.

Miller turned himself in to the Glenn Heights (Texas) Police Department on Nov. 30 last year on an arrest warrant for a charge of third-degree felony assault of a pregnant woman.

An affidavit obtained by ESPN last year detailed that the allegations against Miller include him putting a hand, and later both hands, on the woman's neck for about three to five seconds, pulling her hair and trying to shove her while she was attempting to gather her things and leave after he told her to get out of the apartment where they both lived.

Good-luck/BAD-luck turnovers DO NOT necessarily "even out" over any given season!  However, they might, and could swing the other way!

This early in the season we are viewing a very small sample size of only 4 games each.  It is quite possible their fortunes may be quite different over coming games. (ie, the -6 net turnovers for the Titans currently, should not suggest we can expect they will be -24 net turnovers once 16 games are completed)

The other point can be critical in evaluating true team strength overall.  Losing a game due to BAD-luck turnovers (including other unfortunate breaks) or winning a game due to GOOD-luck turnovers (or other fortuitous breaks) typically yields misleading perceptions.  Games scores are very often NOT indicative of a team's potential strength due to breaks for or against.  Same for W/L records.

One such example is the BUCS @LIONS in week 2 - where by every metric, the -7.5 HOME FAV LIONS *DOMINATED* the game - but lost at home due to the random timing of breaks against them and in favor of the Bucs.
