 Meaningless, really? It's history. B to B Super Bowls and then went 15 -2 the following year, 32-2 over 2 seasons. Meaningless? Yes i know both teams lost the SB but after seeing what the Colts and Pats did it doesn't feel as significant, especially after seeing the Colts have it right in the palm of their hand and just basically spitting on it when they were 14-0 if i'm not mistaken...........Just my opinion though....I'm sure others may see it different.....

 I appreciate your honesty. You weren't around, I get it. I told the asshole who called us "old and irrelevant" they not only went undefeated, they won the Super Bowl the next season with a record of 15-2, 32-2 in two seasons with 2 Super Bowl Championships. Respect the history, that's probably never going to happen again. History cannot be changed, it's there to respect and learn from. God bless!

 Lost respect too, thought he was ok. But "old and irrelevant" really? My "people" are like me, military Veterans, most of whom played competitive sports and respect the history of the game. How appropriate that the 1972 Miami Dolphins that defined perfection can continue to celebrate with pride they're undefeated season and who did they beat going into Super Bowl VII? 

The  Washington Redskins  and tonight, the Washington Commanders helped the Miami Dolphins continue to keep that magical 72’ undefeated season alive!

To be fair here to Van and others and to play devils advocate the act of "celebrating" the failure of a team or an individual accomplishment  so the record stays in tack is well kinda "tacky" ...  Most teams  or players stand up and  applaud the team or person when their record is broken..  Acknowledge the feat and tip the hat... Recently the Maris family went to games  and cheered Judge when he  broke Roger's HR record..  What the Dolphins  players are doing is akin to the Maris family going to the games and rooting and cheering  for Judge to make an out.. Kinda creepy and classless ...  Great record for sure..  Unreal for sure..  But IMO the rooting outwardly for it to stand.. Well.... Tip the hat move on drop the high school rah rah stuff...

I think they should be proud of their achievement . Those guys put in a lot of hard work , effort , grit , determination , and passion into their profession , and they reached the ultimate goal , of winning it all , AND they did it in a dominating fashion ……
