Jerry Rice! His work ethics on practice day and before game day are extraordinary! He set the example on how to prepare and stay in football fit. A lot of wide receivers have taken some of his work out and preparation routines to become better receivers.

Like most, I will also say Jerry Rice. Of course, he has the stats to prove it, but for me it goes deeper. Back in the day, I worked security for the Denver Broncos. Jerry was at training camp with them shortly before retiring. He is a class act! He took time out to acknowledge fans when nobody was looking. He was friendly to those of us who were often not noticed. He genuinely cared, a trait which is becoming less and less common. Thanks, Jerry! Thank you as well, Covers, for all you do and congrats on 25 years!

Jerry Rice in his generation of the game , I can agree. But I don’t think all time. 

For example, two players that come to mind. 

Lance Alworth  San Diego 

Bob Hayes  Dallas Cowboys 

If Rice had played with either one of these guys he would have been the 2nd receiver , sorry Jerry. 

It’s impossible to have a best , just too many great players.

Julian Edelman... I mean did you see that catch in Super Bowl LI?? He’s amazing! GO PATS!
