birds in for a letdown?  if anything its the bears that are in for a letdown...

lets see...the two last minute collapses against carolina and in overtime to tampa, followed by a huge sunday night win against philly, followed by a big divisional game (they lost to lions both times last year), with minnesota next week (think they lost twice to minny last year also)...

only team in a bigger letdown spot this week is washington...sitautional betting is of most importance!!!

I really like Philly....long trip, but they are i a must win situation.  Mcnabb called team meeting, San Fran gives up 298 yeards passing a game.  Mcnabb will torch them, doesnt need Westbrook this game.  In addition, San Fran will score a couple as well.  This makes the total go over.  I also think Green Bay and Seattle will duke it out tomorrow.  San Diego will get redemption in their revenge game.  New Orleans and indy finally show up this week.  The Bucs, at home, will finally expose the Panthers.  WHEW!!!  It's tough to pick the top 3.  I would have to go with Philly -4.5, Philly over 42 and Indy -3.5 OR Tampa -1.5

My picks for the season are not posted So believe what you want im not here for praise my overall ATS is 44-27-3 and thats picking all the games every week. If you take out games that I wrote not sure next to im 36-15-2 and if you go with just my best bets im 15-3-1. Again if your going to call me a liar dont even bother cause I dont care. I get a lot of usefull info from this site and appreciate everyones posts, and figured I take info from you guys every week so I should prolly post my favs for the week.

I agree with staying away from Chicago! At first glance it looks great, but the more time I spent capping it I decided to stay away from it. Im not saying ATL im simply saying stear clear there are better options

I really like Philly -4.5
I also like Det +13 I think Minny will overlook Det thinking to much about Chicago next week in Chicago and 13 is to big for division games even if its Detroit
I also like New Orleans to bounce back! Saints -7

Im not so sure about my previous pick of New Orleans-7 Im on the fence and im not going to bet on it. The more I look at saints WR talent vs Oak Secondary im starting to think Oak may stay in the game Reggie is the X factor so Saints win but Oak may cover

Breeze is a stud but he needs someone to throw to besides Reggie

If you get a minute I have a couple of questions for you.
 
I really thought that Baltimore was a terrible matchup for Indy, especially the way Indy has been playing. I expected Baltimore to run all over Indy, controlling the clock, while the Colts would have a tough time passing against Baltimore's tough pass D. However, I'm certainly willing to admit that you know more about this than I do. Can you comment on why you feel Indy will break out this week?
 
Also, I'm tempted to go with the Bucs. However, I have concerns about how they'll play now that Garcia is back. Do you like them regardless of who is at QB? Or do you like them more now that Garcia is back?

Indy vs. Balt.
A rookie that will only be making his second road start, and has a 61.9 passer rating, getting just 5.69 per attempt, with four interceptions vs. a lone touchdown pass in his 106 throws. vs. one of the greatest of all time???  Hmmm.
 
The secondary is going to be without Samari Rolle, Dawan Landry and Fabian Washington, which forces Frank Walker into the starting lineup for the first time ever in a Baltimore uniform, but it also means that the struggling Corey Ivy will spend a lot of time on the field as the nickel back when the Colts go to multiple WR’s.
 
Manning has a 102.4 career passer rating vs. this defense.

Plain and Simple, Carolina was lucky to get wins on San Diego and Chicago....The last two weeks have been wins over Atlanta and Kansas City, not very impressive. And, they were both at home so now it is back on the road where it is 2-4 its last six games dating back to last season.  Tampa Bay has something to prove as Carolina has won eight of the last 10 meetings and has reeled off five consecutive victories at Raymond James Stadium. 
 
Tampa Bay is 7th in the NFL in total offense.
 
Three starting Carolina offensive linemen missed practice this week as Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah and Ryan Kalil all sat out. The former two could return but not close to 100 percent.
 
Play against all teams where the line is +3 to -3 after they allowed six points or less going up against an opponent coming a loss by three points or less. This situation is 24-4 ATS (85.7 percent) with the average point differential being +7.2 ppg in those 28 games.
 
Tampa Bay is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 home games.
