Last
week’s loss to the Vikings was one of the most devastating in recent memory for
the Broncos. The team roared out of the gates for a big 20-0 lead at the half,
and then completely fell apart after the break for a 27-23 defeat. Losses such
as that one can leave quite the mark.
The Bills are serious contenders for a postseason berth, but many pundits and advanced power rankings systems are dismissing the team’s accomplishments. Strength of schedule and lack of firepower on offense have been the biggest knocks against them, but the record shows they are getting the job done.
Allen was fantastic in last week’s win over the Dolphins, so perhaps he and the offense as a whole are starting to turn the corner. Denver may respond to last week’s collapse with a somewhat inspired performance, but it won’t be enough. Bills win and cover.
