The media will be talking up the "Saints can't play on grass.../away" all week long and people will buy the 49ers at home.
Reality is that the Saints had their 1st,2nd and 3rd team running backs on the IR last year at Seattle. The Bears NFC Championship game in 06 is equally worthless when evaluating this game.
The Saints get Lance Moore back next week and they are as healthy as they have been in years heading into Frisco.
Alex Smith will have to play lights out for Frisco to be in this game for 4 quarters. He did in last years' regular season match up vs New Orleans that was played at the Stick.
On a side note I remember watching the 49ers/Saints pre-season game where the Saints sacked Smith 6 times in the first half and hit him so hard I feared for his safety.
Saints 34
49ers 17
dude are you retarded??? Preseason game was the 1st game for the niners this season!!! They had 2 weeks with harbaugh before playing that game against the saints and greg williams sent blitzes like it was the middle of the season! That game has absolutely nothing to do with this playoff game coming up!!! The media will surely be all over brees and the saints the way they have been playing! what is it now 10 games they've won in a row? Everyone will be on the saints who arent the same team on the road as they are at home! Harbaugh gets 2 weeks to prepare for the saints, and the home crowd will be fired up with their 1st home postseason game in a long time! Saints have played the 2nd easiest schedule in the league and even though the niners are in the west, the west is better with seattle and arizona playing much better this year! Everyone will be on the Saints because of their offense and Brees, and they will fade alex smith and the niners... Square bettors will be all over brees... Play is the niners buy a half point niners +4 all day!!!!

And by the way niners 13... The saints running backs dont matter cuz no one can run on the niners... Only sproles catching passes out of the backfield scares me with their backs... Number 1 rated defense in the league against the run so what does it matter if last year they were down to their 2nd and 3rd running backs?? Your pic makes it seem you are a niners fan, but your posts are backing the saints?? You should get a clue bud!!!

Saints have had the 2nd easiest schedule in the NFL.
Who had the first then? or what are you basing this off of? Everywhere I see the niners based on the records of their opponents had the 3rd easiest and the saints with the 5th easiest.

SF is a different team at home when it comes to this new attitude they have. New Coach New Defense New Era.
+3.5 for ME at home. Brees has been known to struggle against Quality D. He lost to packers. Lost to ST. Louis Back up
Putting up 35 points on the packers is struggling against a quality D? Should have been the 42 needed if not for that horrible call at the one, but neither here nor there. Yes lost to St. Louis and the Bucs, but are these midseason games we are talking about? I'm sure they are kicking themselves in the ass for losing one of those 2 games and getting the 3rd seed, but not sure you can pinpoint these 2 games out of the season on why they are going to lose in the playoffs. Tony Romo is the only quarterback you faced all year that is worth a damn. I guess you can throw in Manning, but not really. That's all I hear any of you saying is this defense won't let brees score that's just not going to happen sorry. You're going to have to score more points, and I don't think Smith can do it.
