Here is a recap of the past 3 weeks.

    Thursday Night Football 10/20/16

Chicago Bears @ Green Bay Packers

    pick

Packers -7.5 for 5 Spirit Units

    why?

The Bears are without much hope in winning
the superbowl.  Just 4 days ago the Bears were pitching a shutout until the 4th quarter, only to end up losing that game 17-16.  That is not a good feeling, and it can deflate a locker room as much as a loss can deflate the sounds on a plane after losing a big game where everyone is silent.  I theorize the Bears are at such a low spiritual point that the short week compounds on their lows, especially having to travel.  The Packers will capitalize on what I believe is a wounded team.  Many different teams could beat this Chicago team on 10-20-16.

Under 46.5 for 5 spirit units
The Packers are likely going to throw a lot due to the RB situation.  This in conjunction with the criticism in the Packers QB play may motivate them to throw the ball a lot more.  Instead of runs, they may utilize a short yardage pass game trying to kill a lot of time off the clock on their drives.  The Bears haven't scored more than 23 points this year.  The Bears will most likely try to shorten the game with runs and dinks and dunks due to the poor news of just finding out last week after their loss their chances of winning the superbowl are one of the worst in the league, they were in better standing before the season started.  This means they have a long 11 weeks left in a season that won't get them a Lombardi Trophy..I am thinking a 38-3 sort of Game to start off Week 7 of the NFL.

    (Final score is Greenbay 26-10)

    Thursday Night Football 10/13/16

Denver Broncos @ San Diego Chargers

    pick

San Diego Chargers +3 for 5 Spirit Units

    why?

The Broncos are without head coach
    Gary Kubiak.
On a short week, this gave the team less time to adjust to what is likely to be a temporary change.  This is likely to cause some confusion in the camp, which will drain the spirit of the players.  The Broncos also have to get in an airplane and travel down to San Diego, again, on a short week without the head coach.  The triple factor is their QB is still in pain.  If he wasn't good last Sunday, I doubt he is perfectly healed 4 days later.  Finally, the Broncos suffered their first loss in a long time, which had to have spiritually deflated them big.  All these factors mean that the Chargers are getting a Spiritually Wounded Division Rival.  Also, the Broncos last season followed up every loss with another loss, which means it typically took them 2 losses until they went back on a win streak.  The Chargers, although have been losing, truly should feel as though they could easily be undefeated right now.  They most certainly must still believe in the playoffs and on a prime time game at home, they are certainly going to be the spiritually advantage team big time, which should mean turnovers and big plays.

Under 44.5 for 5 spirit units
    The Broncos
will most likely try to shorten the game with runs and dinks and dunks with a wounded QB.  A very conservative approach, whereas the Chargers are more likely to throw throw throw as putting it in the hands of their Senior Captain Rivers gives their offense the best chance, which happens to be the 2nd most scoring offense this year.  The Chargers should get to an early lead, which they will then want to shorten the game as well to seal up a win.  Probably like a 24-10 game Chargers win.
    (final score 21-13 Chargers)

    Thursday Night Football Game  10/06/16

Over 43 for 5 spirit units

    Why?

Both teams coming off a physical game on a short week makes ground and pound approach less desirable as players are likely banged up and it could lead to a lot more injuries with such a physical approach on a short week.
Both teams have a bad record, but have a chance at the playoffs..  The conservative approach has not helped either team, and I theorize they are going to take more chances with the play calling tonight.  The loser will be 1-4, which many see as an early grave to that specific team's season.
    (Final 33-21)

    Thursday Night Football 10/27/16

    Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans (-3) 43.5

    pick

Tennessee Titans (-3) for 10 spirit units

    why?

Tennessee currently ranks third in the NFL in rushing at 143.4 yards per game.  Roy Miller III’s season-ending injury was the team’s best interior run defender, who suffered a season ending injury last week in the loss for the Jaguars against the Raiders.  Today is the 3rd year in a row these teams play each other on Thursday Night Football, where the Jaguars won both games.  The difference this year is the Titans are at home, and on a short week in a divisional game with a division still fully up for grabs, this is a play-off like game for these teams.  The home team has a huge advantage here tonight because Tennessee has not had many games at home on National Television.  This means the fans and people of Tennessee have a lot to be excited about tonight, which is likely to infect the team in a very good way.  With Roy Miller III out, the Titans should be able to play ball control and have the play action pass pay well as they take advantage of the injury.

You're too hot. Cool it down. I'm on Jac tonight, why? Because they have a very talented team despite their record and should bounce back tonight. Jalen Ramsey the trash talking CB, lol. I hope that kid makes some play. Home team isn't a huge advantage given the Titans have not covered at home this season.

+ Tennesse only covered ONCE in the last 11 meetings w/ Jags

    I also play Sunday/Monday's games.

I'm leaning towards a few games right now, but I still have to do a little more research before I post them here.  I really want to pick winners.

    Monday Night Football 10/31/16
    Happy Halloween

    Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears  5   39.5

    Pick

Minnesota Vikings -5 for 10 spirit units

    why?

    Since last year,
the Vikings have come off a loss to win their next game and cover the spread 4 out of 5 times. The one time they did not cover was in a game they lost against the Cardinals, but came back after that loss to cover as favorites against the Bears.  After tonight, I am theorizing they will be 5 out of 6 times to win and cover the spread after a loss.  The Vikings are ranked the #1 Defense allowing around only 280 yards per game, whereas the Bears are ranked #18 in yards per game offensively.

    Spiritually
, the Bears are deflated.  Hoyer broke his arm, and although Cutler is healthy to play, he is coming back to a 1-5 football team. The fans of Chicago are likely going to put their efforts on the Cubs who play at 8:00 P.M. in the World Series rather than the Bears tonight.  The Vikings had their wake up call with Philadelphia, and thus are hungry to win again is one of their recent trends as they keep their faith high in the Post Season.
