Just seems ludicrous.. I can understand +3 with how these playoffs have played out, but this is getting outta hand..
Haven't read much of anyone else's take so far..
But I expect this line to settle at +4.5, +4 at kickoff..
I could even understand if this was Brady/Belichick laying all those points against some NFC defense that was ranked #1, with all their big game experience. But this is a start up team in the Panthers, with an unproven coach who was on the hot seat a year or two ago as I recall. The books had this team winning 8.5 games this year.
Their point differential on the road this year is -6.6 per game. -7.5 per win. That was against ATl, NYG, NO, Dal, Ten, Sea, TB, Jax. Some not very good teams. Sea is the only D that comes close to this Denver D. See how those numbers don't add up?? And almost all of those teams had below average offense this year, just like Denver has. Panthers average 7.5 points per win away from home, vs almost all very average teams, and now they're -6 vs this defense??
Not buyin' it folks..
Take the +6 before it's bought back down..

Dribble you must smoke that good stuff...your ideas are just crazy! Why isn't anyone talking about the Carolina defense? It's not like it's the number one defense against a shitty offense and defense. Carolina is #1 in scoring and a top 8 defense. That's a complete TEAM Denver is number one defense and number what 16-20 offense? I do think 6 points is a ton but everyone wants to talk about the Denver defense...

Brady and Belichick were under strict orders to lay down in the Denver game. After every coup, heads inevitably roll. I said before the season, any futures bet on the Pats was money thrown away.
They were NOT reaching the Super Bowl, much less winning it.
Watch that game again and tell me honestly and with a straight face, you were not shaking your head at Belicheat's strange decision-making. The yguy MADE SURE not to score points which would have cut the deficit.
Kepp fooling yourselves. That game was a humiliation ritual for the Pats. Payback by the league for their public defiance of Roger Goodell and long history of cheating. YES, cheating.
There are 31 other owners who have a say in PICKING which teams get into the Super Bowl. OH, I'm sorry, did you think the playoffs were on the up and up ???
Arthur Blank, of the Falcons ownership, once slipped in an interview and said clearly, "I hope one day we are selectd for the Super Bowl, but the two teams selected this year are deserving".
Keep thinking this ain't in the same league as the WWE.
Speaking of WWE, something tells me you are also a big Jesse Ventura fan.

Lol dribble, so your saying crowd noise has no effect on the snap count for the pats? Just because he has been to X amount of super bowls doesn't change he fact that crowd noise helps the home team. I thought Denver would win last game because they were at HOME. But to only score 20 points was not that good of a showing. And let's be honest if Brady hits the wide open gronk they prob win the game but anyways this game will have no crowd noise to deal with obviously.
