Good morning my friends of this forum. I am currently 60 miles south of Cleveland Browns Stadium.
It's chilly, dreary, and a nice day to stay inside and have a bowl of Campbell's Clam Chowder.
It's also a nice day to lay 3 points with San Diego against Cleveland.
What you're going to see today is Shurmur mismanage his offense again and not utilize Trent Richardson nearly enough as he should.
He's going to once again force feed this offense more West Coast schemes and he is going to get burned for it.
You bet Cleveland at 2 ends of the spectrum....
On one end, you bet on them when everyone else is against them and you want to be the minority.
On the other end, you bet them b/c they're appealing as a short home dog in weather you consider them to thrive in and weather you consider their opponent to be totally foreign too.
You're going to be more successful betting on them in situations that make no sense to do so, rather in situations like the one today.
Today's game falls into the same category as the games against Buffalo and Indianapolis did. Games that bettors feel the Browns have a great shot at not only covering, but winning.
As the old adage goes, gamblers remember the last thing they saw.
Most bettors don't remember specifically what the Browns did last week or the week before, they just have a general overview that they're not a good team and that lingers with this squad from week to week.
Most bettors do remember specifically what the Chargers did 2 weeks ago and apply that to this situation in Cleveland today. One can look at it as, they're off a bye, they want to get the taste out of their mouths... the others can look at it as, Turner and Rivers are feeling the heat and on the road @ Cleveland is not a place to turn it around.
