There Is a lot I want to comment on in the thread, but the one thing that sticks out is this guy saying that brady will make his recievers good just like he did with Welker(an unbelievable slot and check down receiver) and Randy Moss(easily a top five wide out to ever play football). Brady did not make them what they are, both of thise guys are great with or without brady, welker is lighting it up in Denver and moss lit it up wherever he played.

here is my write up for the atlanta game:


the patriots aren't as good as their 3-0 record. 

falcons aren't as bad as their 1-2 record. 

look at the level of competition between the two.  

miami is legitimate and will likely win their division.  

and they lost to the best team in the nfc, new orleans.

falcons are still an elite team, while new england has some serious holes.

 With this game in the Georgia Dome, where matty ice is almost unbeatable.

I don't think the falcons have any real shot of dropping to 1-3.

Their offense is simply much more capable of putting up big points than the patriots offense.

I dont believe the patriots defense is as good as their statistics say and I believe the falcons will prove it in this game.

yes yes i know.  very poor week showing.  i still stand by my picks.  a lot of garbage happened in those games.  the philly game was the only outright destruction.  it happens.  i made up for the losses on monday night with the new orleans game and still finished positive for the week.  and sorry, im not just another poster on this site.  PM if you want more details.  and if you dont know the story then you havent been at covers long.   here is a college makeup game for you to trounch in recovery of my poor postings this week.  i will only give smaller cards and top play picks from now on.  so my apologies if anyone followed me and lost this past week.  its never my intent on giving bad info.  it was the worst week ive had in a very long time.  plain and simple.  i dont talk to just talk.  i dont boast to boast.  my record speaks for itself if you know who i am.  im not claiming to be an undefeated genius who never loses games.  but i make pretty damn solid picks.  once again, it was a bad week for me....no excuses.  it is what it is.  i pick and choose my games in the way i bet them and cash in anyway.  new orleans really saved me from a terrible week and still made some cash.  anyway, here is a solid college pick for you and i hope it pays dividends for you all to make up for a bad week  (NORTHERN ILLINOIS -9)
